END OF DEMOCRACY?

It is no secret that the United States is acquiring national debt at an unprecedented rate and that it is serious danger, like Greece, Spain, and Portugal have been for months. Now, the head of the European Commission is warning that democracy could end in those countries unless their debt crisis is controlled. Greece has been hit by a series of national strikes and riots this year following the announcement of drastic cuts to public spending.

COMMENTS:
And Obama wants to keep spending, and spending, and spending. Is this, in fact, his game plan?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Now that Obama has had his tour and his speech, now that the White House has met with top officials of BP/ARCO, will things finally start to be done in the Gulf? (Archie ~ Bremerton, WA)
A. BP is going to put up $20 billion? I doubt it. But, if they do, will it end up going poof in the air like $380 billion of TARP money? As far as getting anything done on the mess, keep your eyes on the money. I’ll guarantee you that the money will disappear a whole lot faster than the oil mess.

Q. I see that Carly Fiorina is trailing Barbara Boxer out of the gate. Can she win? (Emilio ~ Bishop, CA)
A. Fiorina is not a narcissist like Boxer. She is a fresh face and knows her business. A vote for Boxer is a vote for Obama and all of the crap he has pulled on us.

Q. What’s your opinion of that guy who went after Osama? (Carlos ~ Chico, CA)
A. Faulkner is nuttier than a fruit cake. Even if he did know where Osama is, Osama will be heavily guarded. He needs to switch beers.
