AMERICANS ARE STANDING TOGETHER

While the Barney Franks of the world are out there demanding, not asking for but demanding, more authority over Americans so that he and his cohorts can shove more control up our keesters, there are those among us who display our patriotism every day. In Burney, American Legion Post 441 has concluded a two day event that included a rummage sale, bake sale, car wash and breakfast. The money raised will be used for college scholarships for graduating Burney High School students.

COMMENTS:

The people who worked the event volunteered. The people who donated money for rummage items, the car wash, baked goods and breakfast volunteered. This is the spirit of America. We don’t need Barack Obama or Barney Frank to lecture to us about American values.

A. Where in the United States Constitution does it say that you have to be mentally fit to be a Senator? My God, if it said that anywhere, we would not have had a Senate for at least 40 years.

Q. Obama is asking for more money? (Darla ~ Prescott, AZ)
A. He says that too many people are out of work and the economy needs some help. This is the same guy who has been triumphantly saying that he has fixed the economy. This is the same guy who presides over Tim Geithner, who cannot account for the money in the first bailout… WHEN ARE WE GOING TO HAVE ENOUGH OF THIS BLATANT BULL? Is this not the rip-off to beat all rip-offs?

Q. How can we clean up the Gulf oil spill? (Alice ~ Redding, CA)
A. I don't know that we can;  it has become much too large to deal with.
