The President has floated the probability that he and the Congress will use their Democratic Majority to defy the Republicans and to force the government-run health care plan down America’s throat whether the citizens want it or not. This possibility has been given increasing and serious consideration by Obama and the White House and, as a “trial balloon,” has been “leaked” to the press and media while Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have been actively deriding and name-calling those against “Their Plan.”
COMMENTS:
Fascism now replaces socialism? Obviously, they care more about winning than about getting it right. And, they certainly don’t give a damn about what you and I think. They would rather use the ploy that this is a Republican versus Democrat issue and further divide the country than to give in to the fact that they are making a horrible mistake for America. Another balloon that has been floated is that we, you and I, have a “moral obligation” to go along with “Their Plan.” Listen up, you evil mongers! The messiah is speaking. "Shut up and get out of the way!"
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What would happen if the President and Congress thrust Their Plan on America whether we want it or not? (Mike – Hudson, OH)
A. There is the thought that they are not that stupid. However, if this is truly a matter of wanting to expand government control over the populace, they may well take the risk. I believe that, should this legislation pass, gun control will be next followed by more assaults on religious freedoms.
Q. Why is PETA attacking McDonalds? (Mindee – Bismarck, ND)
A. Because they don’t really understand the meat of the issue.
Q. Why do Americans hide money in Swiss banks? (Fess – Goleta, CA)
A. Because they want to keep their cheese from the rats.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people, who have a right and a desire to know; but besides this, they have a right, an indisputable, unalienable, undefeasible, divine right to that most dreaded and envied kind of knowledge, I mean of the characters and conduct of their rulers.” - John Adams, 1765
