THE NEW AMERICAN REVOLUTION

Former Presidential Candidate John McCain last week told a Town Hall Meeting in Arizona that he believes we American patriots need to “take back our country.” He went on to suggest that the time is right, that Americans are ready to do that in a “peaceful revolution.”

COMMENTS:
I’m not particularly a fan of McCain, but I think he’s right on the money in this case. American patriots, you and me, are damned well sick and tired of what government has been doing to us and our way of life for the last 20+ years. All we need is a good, strong, unbending and charismatic leader to show us the way, and I really think that Democrats, Independents and Republicans will come to the aid of our country… in a heartbeat.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What was RFK’s finest moment?
(Dick – Reno, NV)
A. He did have some good points, and was a strong advocate for Native Americans, one of the few in the last 200 years. On the lighter side, he made a lengthy and fired up speech in Gallup, New Mexico back when he was about to run for the Presidency himself. The largely Navajo and Hopi audience that was in town for annual Navajo Pow Wow Ceremonials, frequently broke into his speech with cheers of “Hoya! Hoya!” After the event was over, Kennedy was sneaking through the stables in the back on his way to his waiting limo when the Navajo Tribal Chairman advised him not to step in the “hoya.”

Q. Is it true that Ted Kennedy was an alcoholic?
(Fred – Bossier City, LA)
A. I don’t know if you’d call him an alcoholic. But, if you have any stock in any liquor company doing business in the United States, I’d sell it right now. They’ve already laid off the graveyard shift at Schenley’s.

Q. I hear that NBC may go off the air?
(Grace – Bellingham, WA)
A. Yes. Their ratings have plummeted due to many reasons, including their 120% dedication to the Obama agenda. My dad always told me, “Never let your meat loaf,” and my advice to you is, “Be careful with your peacock.”
