HIDDEN SUCCESS OF CASH FOR CLUNKERS

The new Federal “Cash for Clunkers” program has been so successful that the original Congressional allocation for the program was gone within a few days. Congress did quickly act to extend the program with another allocation that should last until September at least.

COMMENTS:
Thousands of beat-up old cars on the lawns of houses occupied by Indians and Mexicans all across the country have now been disappearing. Cadillac and SUV sales have shot sky-high as Indians have been able to buy more booze and Mexicans have been able to buy more drugs. This activity has stimulated the economy, causing the unemployment rate to dip to 9.4% in July.

A. They drive down the streets in Port Arthur, Texas and count the yards that look immaculate and the ones that don’t and thereby develop a ratio or percentage that they can apply to determine the number of illegals in the country on any given day.

Q. What’s the difference between bullshit and horse manure? (Johnny – Allentown, PA)
A. Bullshit is what guys do while they’re sitting on stools in a bar. Horse manure is what Congress spreads when it tries to convince the public that a bad deal is a good deal.

Q. I hear that the Obama Administration has totally screwed up a plan to move prisoners to a Pennsylvania prison. (Nelly – Mesa, AZ)
A. The Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency, (ICE), plans to move 512 occupants of a Texas immigration holding facility to a Berks County, Pennsylvania jail. It’s bad enough that no one bothered to ask anyone in Berks County what they thought of the idea, but they also failed to note that the 84-bed Pennsylvania jail was already overflowing. (These are the great thinkers of our time, the ones who seek to run the government health care plan.)
