“INSURANCE COMPANIES AT FAULT FOR HEALTH CARE CRISIS”

Having seen his derision of the populace as being “in the way, un-American, evil-mongering, obstructionist, cable-TV puppets,” fall on deaf ears, President Obama has refocused his anger at the insurance companies, vowing that they will be tarred and feathered by his health reform before the end of the year.

COMMENTS:
In doing so, he has not changed one word in the proposed Government-Run Health Care Program and he hopes that we “dumbed-down” Bible carrying and gun-toting Americans will fall for his latest bucket of misleading rhetoric. Just his scowl of contempt should be enough to send us running for the petticoats of our "misguided ancestors?"

Why Americans expect him to tackle tort reform when he is a lawyer himself is beyond me.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What’s a tort?
(Ebenezer – Ontario, CA)
A. That’s a piece of pastry, usually filled with a fruit jell and baked. It’s also an obnoxious, gaseous smell; hence the saying, “Congress is just a house full of tort heads.”

Q. I understand that they are getting rid of the “death squads” and old-age consultations that were mandated by the new Government-run health plan. Is that true?
(Sy – Bronx, NY)
A. Since they are out of session, they haven’t yet changed one word. What they say and what they do are more often than not entirely two different things. It’s somewhat akin to saying that the gun isn’t loaded just before they pull the trigger.

Q. How can it be true that the recession is over and the economy is fixed when unemployment continues to soar, retail sales continue to plummet, house foreclosures are at record highs, and Tim Geithner is running around asking for another stimulus and an increase on the ceiling of the national debt?
(Merry – Steamboat Springs, CO)
A. Because the messiah says so.
