White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest signaled Friday
that Hillary Clinton may get away with her Email shenanigans. Earnest threw cold water on predictions that
Clinton will face a Justice Department indictment for mishandling classified
information on her private and unsecure email server while secretary of
State. “That will be a decision that
will be made by the Department of Justice,” he said. “Some officials have said
she is not the target of the investigation and it does not seem to be the
direction in which it is trending.” Pressed again on whether he believed
Clinton could get indicted, Earnest insisted: “It doesn’t seem to be headed in
that direction.”
COMMENTS:
We could be headed for a major government showdown such as
we haven’t seen since the Justice Department bloodbath over Watergate. Now would be a good time for you to donate
blood to save the hides of those who might be involved in protecting Hillary.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Ted Cruz is now saying the Carson, Huckabee and Rand
supporters need to get behind him so he can defeat Trump. Do you think that will happen? (Curley ~ Redding, CA)
A. Now, that’s lame.
Cruz is in essence saying that he doesn’t have all of the qualifications for the
job, but that he’s the one most likely to be able to defeat Trump, so that is
reason enough for everyone to drop their favorite candidates and vote Cruz
in. Hopefully, Americans have their own
minds and don’t need to fall for this tactic.
If they want to back Trump, Carson, Cruz or anyone else, that’s who they
should back.
Q. Is Obama coming out of his closet? I understand he’s going to “officially” visit
a Mosque. (Terrance ~ Roy, UT)
A. It is the Islamic Society of Baltimore, which has had
deep ties to terrorist organizations in the past. It is a member of the Islamic Society of
North America and several of its members were convicted of contributing money
to finance the terrorist group Hamas. A
member of the Muslim Brotherhood served as its Imam for 15 years. No further comment is necessary.
Q. Why has the F.B.I. waited so long to interview Hillary
Clinton about her emails and the Clinton Foundation? (Jethro ~ Mobile, AL)
A. Such interviews normally take place toward the wrap-up of
an investigation, after you have obtained some pertinent facts and
evidence. Otherwise, how do you know
what questions to ask?
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“You must pursue this investigation of Watergate even if it
leads to the president. I’m
innocent. You’ve got to believe I’m
innocent. If you don’t, take my job.” ~
