Going into the Iowa caucuses, Trump was in the lead in most
polls, but he emerged in second place as the evening ended.
COMMENTS:
The Donald needs to pause and reflect, to take stock of the
whys and what nots. Frankly, I think the
time for the theatrics has come and passed.
He needs to cut the bull and get down to the business of defining his
platform and overtly trying to unite the party.
He needs to stop campaigning against his enemies and start building some
positive, proactive national consensus.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I understand a recent poll shows that 25% of government
workers might quit if Trump is elected president? (Hannah ~ Sand Point, ID)
A. Good riddance. We
need to clear out as much garbage in government as we can.
Q. I understand Naghmeh Abedini served her pastor husband
Saeed with separation papers the day he returned to his Idaho home after three
years of Iranian captivity. After all of
her adamant support for him? (Lindsey ~
Bakersfield, CA)
A. I'm guessing she’s found a better lay.
Q. You see the ads all of the time about how Wounded
Warriors does so much good for returning veterans who have various war
injuries. But, I understand they are one of the worst-rated charities? (Ted ~ Salinas, CA)
A. That’s correct.
They have salaries to pay and all of those ads are not free; then they
have conferences and parties. Less than
50% of donations are used to provide services.
