Justice Antonin Scalia, in a hotly-worded minority opinion
on the Supreme Court’s decision, suggested that ObamaCare should be called “Scotus
Care.”
COMMENTS:
Scrotum Care would be more adequately descriptive, as far as
I am concerned.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. How do you feel about the Supreme Court decision on
ObamaCare subsidies? (Hermano ~ National
City, CA)
A. Absolutely disgusted.
I guess Obama’s threatening stance on the issue a month ago must have
surely intimidated the Court, because no legitimate legal scholar could
possibly stretch judicial reasoning to rule this way… the way that Justice
Roberts did in writing his opinion.
Every law professor I ever had, and all of the forefathers of this
country, are most certainly spinning in their graves.
Q. Donald Trump is suddenly polling in second place and Fox
News and the Republicans are calling him a clown. Why? (Spencer
~ Folsom, CA)
A. They are afraid of him.
He’s not part of the “establishment.”
He’s also got a leg up on them, because he doesn’t have to go out and
sell his soul to raise campaign money. He’s
not like the rest of them who are somewhat like birds of a feather… all mouth
and no ass.
Q. Every day that goes by, Iran makes more gestures of
refusing to go along with any U.S. anti-nuke deal. If negotiations fail, what do you think Obama
will do? (Timber ~ Lansing, MI)
A. He’ll find some way to declare victory, or he might lay
the blame on Netanyahu. And he’ll then head
to a golf course. He will not… repeat
NOT… do anything to stop them from getting their nukes.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“Love it or hate it, ObamaCare is the law of the land. It was passed by Congress, signed into law by
president Obama, declared constitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court and ratified
by a majority of Americans who reelected the president for a second term.” ~
Hank Johnson
