They could even be
radical Muslims: As many as 11,000 or more Syrian refugees are on their way
to the United States. There is no
guarantee as to whether or not the government is screening them for terrorist
activities or radical associations and training. Some Congressmen have attempted to block the influx
based on reports from FBI counter-terrorism experts, but the Obama
administration is ignoring them. Cities
already receiving these Muslims are spread all across the country.
COMMENTS:
This country is more at risk for terrorism attacks than it
has been at any time in its history, including 9/11. And the chatter out there is that they have a
“major event” planned for the 4th of July. This is
undoubtedly, the single most dangerous and most irresponsible project
undertaken by any president… ever.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Any comment about that Associated Press picture of Ted
Cruz that showed a background picture of a gun which appeared aimed at his head
pointed at his head? (Cheyenne ~ Sand
Point, ID)
A. The A.P. pulled the picture, but consider these three thoughts:
(1) any photographer who takes pictures every day for a living gets to be
trained to know what is in the background of the subject, who might be walking
into the picture, etc. (2) Even if the photographer
was blind to the gun poster in the background, he/she would have discovered it
when they downloaded it from the camera and (3) such pictures don’t just get
released; editors see them first.
Therefore, I conclude that the picture was taken deliberately and used
to make a political statement, which is prima facie evidence that journalism
these days has totally lost its objectivity and is politically motivated. Furthermore, such a picture could incite
violence against Cruz and is, on its face, inflammatory. If Cruz had been Al Sharpton or Jesse
Jackson, Obama would be making speeches about both it and gun control, and there’d
be riots in Harlem.
Q. It seems like every time we have a long weekend, really
bad news oozes out about an hour after Congress and Obama leave
Washington. What do you expect this
weekend? (Rodolfo ~ El Paso, Texas)
A. The Supreme Court will rule Thursday that ObamaCare
subsidies are legal and Obama will release more prisoners from Guantanamo. The Senate will approve the Trans Pacific Trade
Partnership and Obama’s administration will pull all federal funds used to
support municipal sewer systems across the country unless states agree to enact
tough gun control laws.
Q. Obama is complaining the American public has forgotten
his successes and is calling him an idiot.
(Vernon ~ Everett, WA)
A. That’s appropriate: He has no successes and he IS an idiot.
