A Russian Su-27 fighter flew across the nose of a U.S. Air Force RC-135U aircraft, coming within about 100 feet (30 meters), while in international airspace over the Sea of Okhotsk in late April. Top U.S. military officials complained loudly to top Russian military officials. The Russian pilot maneuvered his jet in a way that exposed its belly to the American crew, he said, apparently as a way of showing that it was armed.
COMMENTS:
Hmmm, I wonder why it took so long to ooze out. Well, I’m sure you understand what the Russians did with that complaint. Maybe we should have given them 50 lashes
with a wet noodle.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Obama says we can always go back and get these five
terrorists he just released if we have to.
What do you think? (Jennifer ~
Live Oak, CA)
A. And just like we got those responsible for the Benghazi
Massacre, right?
Q. I heard a lot of people saying yesterday that the
prisoner exchange deal is illegal. Do
you think that approach will lead anywhere?
(Liu ~ San Diego, CA)
A. Sure. Congress will have hearings, the White House
will refuse documents and testimony, the House will issue a finding of contempt
of Congress, the President will claim Executive Privilege, a Federal Court
Judge will rule, the losing side will appeal to the Supreme Court and judgment
day will come… two or three years after Obama leaves office. He’s only got two years or so left in office,
so at this point he can do anything he wants and nobody can stop him… unless
the Republicans gain veto-proof control of both Houses of Congress in
November.
Q. Will Bergdahl be prosecuted for desertion? (Hal ~ Sebastopol, CA)
A. The President met with his family. Susan Rice came out over the weekend and claimed
he served with “honor and distinction.”
No, he’s never going to be prosecuted for desertion; it would make Obama look bad. What does that say to the families of the six
men who lost their lives looking for him?
This President makes me want to puke.
He’s beyond being a joke; he’s downright dangerous to this country
himself. Someone should charge him with domestic terrorism.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“The lesson of the Cuban Missile Crisis is plain: strength
prevents war; weakness invites it. We
need a commander-in-chief who understands that – and who won’t leave us facing
a foe who thinks he doesn’t.” ~ Arthur L. Herman
