200 AMERICAN CONTRACTORS IN BAD TROUBLE IN IRAQ

Around 200 civilians contracting with the Department of Defense at Balad Air Base in Iraq are trapped by Al-Qaeda jihadists who seized control of two nearby cities.  They have effectively been abandoned by the military and are fighting for their own lives.

COMMENTS:
And Obama spent the weekend playing golf in California.  Why we didn’t evacuate the embassy in Baghdad and all other Americans at the very first hint of trouble is a stark reminder of the Benghazi Massacre, where we knew trouble was brewing and didn’t do anything about it. Thank God Obama has Al-Qaeda on the run; can you imagine how bad things would be if we didn’t?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. With everything else that’s been going on, the concerns about Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi who is stuck in a Mexican jail seem to be diminishing. We’re not hearing anything about him; what is going on?  (Bali ~ Springfield, IL)
A. Since this is the first incidence in history of anyone crossing the border from north to south, Obama and Biden don’t have the slightest idea as to how to deal with it.  It seems one telephone call to Enrique Pena Nieto telling him we are cutting off all aid to Mexico unless they release our Marine would get the message across.  The moral of the story is that if we can be held hostage by a third-world country like Mexico, what can the Taliban and Al-Qaeda do to us?

Q. I was reading on THE BLAZE that Lois Lerner at the I.R.S. was required to keep hard copies of all official emails.  So, the I.R.S. claim that her computer crashed and Emails got lost is a bunch of hokey.  Besides, as you say, why can’t they go to the other agencies and get copies of all Emails to and from Lerner? (Tad ~ San Juan Capistrano, CA)
A. They misplaced the name and address of the location where the hard copies are kept?  They got shredded by mistake?  There was a water leak in the storage room?  The other agencies had computer glitches, too?  Do you get the impression that they are full of el toro pupu?

Q. What do you think about the information coming out now that Bergdahl was discharged from the Coast Guard due to mental problems and that he was kept in a metal box by the Taliban for two years? (Kamala ~ Spokane, WA)
A. I have my doubts.  I think they are trying to build up national sympathy for Bergdahl so that when they give him a discharge for the convenience of the government he will be entitled to full benefits and Obama won’t look bad.  Not only are these stories coming out, but they continue to paint the rest of his unit as being bad boys. They have more stories than the Library of Congress.
