go take a “look see.” Here, have another
toke off my bong. Isn't life just so grand on the
Potomac? I suppose, like the unemployment figures, this will be the new "normal."

I haven’t seen such a poor programming move since they got rid of Glenn
Beck and canceled the Judge Napolitano show.
Q. Are you angry at Bowe Bergdahl? (Ana ~ Coos Bay, OR)
A. My initial reaction is this: He chose his alliances when
he left his unit and went to meet up with the Taliban. He’s an out-and-out deserter and possibly a
traitor and deserves to rot with his Taliban buddies. Nevertheless, if we have no compassion… then
what have we really become? That doesn’t mean, by the way, that he needs
to get a Purple Heart and a hero’s welcome; he needs a military investigation
and trial, but I fear Obama will intervene, purge his military files and declare him to be a national hero.
Q. What are your feelings about that national trend for states
to legalize pot? (Minnie ~ North
Hollywood, CA)
A. It seems that all of the nation’s capital incumbents are
smoking rich Colombian pot as it is. I
suppose the rest of the nation should get hooked on it; as long as we can’t
seem to get up the courage to do something about those animals in government,
we might as well get stoned.
