A defunct satellite the size of a large SUV, owned and
operated by the European Space Agency, is about to crash to Earth. The problem is that they’re not sure when or
where. Its orbit goes over the poles,
and as the planet rotates the satellite whizzes over nearly every point on
Earth. Scientists can only estimate that
when it falls, Sunday or Monday; debris weighing as much as 200 pounds will
most likely land in an ocean.
COMMENTS:
Like I said, wear a helmet.
No cause for alarm, mind you… if the 200 pound chunk of molten metal
comes down, it will “most likely” land in the ocean. Keep in mind that the government is making
these predictions and that they let the contract for the ObamaCare
website.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I am really concerned about where our country is
going. I feel that there is absolutely
no freedom of the press under this President and that is why we are not getting
even a semblance of accurate news. Am I
being over cynical? (Sandy ~ Longview,
TX)
A. Not at all. We
know that the Administration sicked the Department of Justice on the Associated
Press and on James Rosen. There’s
another development that illustrates what we need to fear; last year, James
Holmes went into a Colorado movie theater and cut loose with his guns. Jana Winter, a reporter for FOX NEWS, found
out later that Holmes had sent a psychiatrist a notebook prior to the rampage
and the government is now trying to force her to reveal where she got that
information. Reporters have the right to
confidentiality of sources; otherwise, much that is wrong with this country
would never come to light because sources would be afraid to give the
information. We are in a police state
mentality.
Q. You said yesterday that nobody from Oregon has yet signed
up for ObamaCare. Are there any other
dismal figures out there? (York ~ San
Diego, CA)
A. Only five have signed up from Washington, D.C. The
Administration is now saying that the numbers, when released next week, will be
significantly lower than expected. My, my;
maybe people just simply don’t like this crapola.
Q. How dangerous is the situation now in Iraq? (Bernie ~ Yreka, CA)
A. According to LIGNET.COM, “Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri
al-Maliki came to Washington last week seeking help to beat back a resurgent
al-Qaeda that has escalated the country’s civil war to levels of violence not
seen since 2008. Iraq has scheduled national elections in early 2014, and
Maliki's request for extensive U.S. military and intelligence support suggests
that he realizes he cannot achieve his political objectives without massive
foreign assistance.” Don't look for Obama to respond.
