Sooner or later, someone had to run the stats and here are the alarming, but not really unexpected, results. Health insurance premiums are going up at a higher percentage rate in states that voted against Obama in the last election than in the states which voted for him. That’s right: In red states, premiums for 27-year-olds rose an average of 78% on ObamaCare exchanges, whereas in "blue states" that voted for Obama, premiums rose a smaller 50%, according to a FOXNEWS report.
COMMENTS:
There’s nothing that’s fair or honest about this President or
his Administration; he lies, he cheats, he spins, he misleads and he gets even with
anyone who gets in his way. Perhaps that
is why his middle name is Hussein.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. There is growing concern in the media about ObamaCare’s
security. Can you explain? (Marsha ~ Lancaster, CA)
A. Commercial websites such as Amazon.com have established
elaborate internet security protocols to safeguard your credit card
information. The government says it has
established security to protect your date of birth, social security number and
health information, but CBS NEWS is reporting that the protection software was
never tested before launching the website.
This means your private information is subject to compromise and your
financial information is vulnerable to identity theft. Why would you even consider going near this
website?
Q. An Army Veteran in Georgia did what I think is a dumb
move: she posted her concealed weapons permit on her Facebook account. The principal at her daughter’s school saw it
and banned the CCW mother from the school grounds because she was afraid of
her. Is that legal? (Heather ~ Lompoc, CA)
A. You are correct that the Army vet didn’t act responsibly
when she posted her CCW permit on Facebook.
That, to me, is tantamount to bragging that you carry a concealed weapon
and invites trouble. I think she should
have the permit suspended or revoked, myself.
As for being banned from the school grounds, I don’t know that it is an
unreasonable action in this instance; I think the Army vet is displaying
irrational behavior with her Facebook posting, but under normal circumstances
you can’t simply ban someone from anywhere just because they have a CCW
permit.
Q. You mentioned that China and Russia are modernizing and
expanding their military capabilities.
Are we doing anything along
those lines? (Vance ~ San Antonio, TX)
A. Yes, the Navy is building ships that don’t meet operational
expectations and the Air Force is working on the SR-72, a successor to the
SR-71 Blackbird. INFO. The Marines scratched their new
caps and the Army is working on new BVD’s.
