Last Monday in Brooklyn, New York, a group of 10 young blacks attacked and brutally beat a white couple stopped at a traffic signal. They were evidently milling about in front of the vehicle when the light turned to green; the driver, Ronald Russo, honked, whereupon the group attacked the couple’s car and dragged them both from the vehicle, throwing them to the ground while kicking and beating on them with fists. Russo suffered numerous injuries, including a blood clot, abrasions to his shoulder, a fractured nose and a broken septum. His wife, Alana, suffered a black eye, bleeding and had difficulty breathing. Racial epithets were exclaimed at the couple. Six of those involved are still on the loose.
COMMENTS:
Don’t you wonder why this didn’t make the headlines? This is flagrant black racial violence
against whites, gang violence of the worst kind. Watch it get swept under the rug.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I can’t believe that the day came to turn on the
ObamaCare website and that was the first that anyone knew something was wrong
with it. Why didn’t they delay it and
fix it before it went “live?” (Alfonso ~ Arlington Heights, IL)
A. There is every indication that even Obama himself knew
about the technical problems. In fact,
the government substantially increased a contract with a British firm tasked
with handling paper applications just a week before the site fired up. As for Obama, news came late yesterday that
he intends to address the nation on the subject this morning. Hopefully, his
teleprompters will work better than his website.
Q. Why do you think powerful Republicans attacked Ted Cruz
so viciously during the shutdown? (Li ~
West Sacramento, CA)
A. He went to Washington with the agenda of returning the power
of government to the people. The
old-guard, old-dog Republicans are not about to let a freshman Senator upstage
them or to diminish their power. This is
what the Republican split is all about. We need fresh ideas in Washington and we need
the power to govern back in our own hands.
We need to run the old guys out of both parties.
Q. How likely is it that some of these super-tech spy
gadgets will make it into the hands of everyday people? (Seth ~ Raton, NM)
A. It’s already been happening.
Law enforcement agencies and fire departments can determine your
location through the GPS app on your cellphone.
There is now available an app that, once surreptitiously installed in
your phone, can send your key stokes, emails, addresses and other information
to a stalker, spouse or anyone else. The same technology can be installed on an I-Pad or laptop. I can’t even begin to
explain to you how small cameras and microphones have become, and they are
available over the counter to just about anyone at the right shop.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
"What I'm getting at is, you know, if we really want to get
serious about helping all the people living in the street and getting people
jobs, we could just hire half the people in the country to spy on the other
half.” ~ Jello Biafra
