SOLAR PLANT SCREWS U.S. AND ENVIRONMENT

Abound, a solar-panel manufacturing company in Colorado, was one of the several companies collecting stimulus money from the Obama Administration; after amassing $400 million, it filed bankruptcy and left behind a 37,000 square-foot plant loaded with broken glass, contaminated water and chemical carcinogens.  The Northern Colorado Business Report estimates it will cost at least $3.7 million to clean the mess up.  Unsold inventory, which should have been sold to offset losses, mysteriously disappeared. 

COMMENTS:

This Administration is clearly accumulating its own record of mass destruction and unbounded incompetency.

A. Not exactly.   She was asked by Representative Renee Ellmers why men had to buy an insurance policy that covers maternity benefits.  Sebelius responded: “The individual policies cover families. Men often do need maternity care for their spouses and for their families, yes.”  Ellmers, driving at the questions as to whether single men should have to buy such insurance shot back with, “A single male, aged 32, does need maternity coverage. To the best of your knowledge, has a man ever delivered a baby?” 

Q. If you keep things like passwords and account numbers in an encrypted data file, can the government force you to unencrypt the file?  (Kim ~ Redding, CA)

A. Wow.  It sounds like you are in some hot water.  And the question you pose is iffy.  Generally speaking, the Fifth Amendment says you cannot be forced to testify against yourself, and forcing you to unencrypt data files could be held to violate that Amendment.  On the other hand, it is conceivable that such an encrypted file would contain no information about you at all, such as a copy of your father’s deed to a plot of land.  I’m going to surmise that a Judge could order you to unencrypt the file so that he/she could make a determination as to whether it should be protected by the Constitution before being admitted into evidence.

NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS

The head of the agency responsible for overseeing the troubled HealthCare.gov repeatedly refused to disclose how many people have enrolled in ObamaCare during a hearing where she did not deny that officials have that information.  Mary Tavener said that, "We made the decision that we were not releasing the numbers until mid-November."  She did not specify a reason why or whether or not her people had been instructed to withhold the information. 

COMMENTS:

You have no right to know until those in charge say you can know. They know that whatever figures they end up revealing may be “incorrect,” but they don’t want to reveal them anyway.  You, American ladies and gentlemen, have no choice but to stuff it while “they” sit on it.

It easy to fall for.  An authentic looking email from UPS or FedEx or similar big business has all of the logos and no bad grammar.  It’s called the Crypto Virus and will steal your financial information, passwords and operating system, demanding you to pay a ransom to get everything back.  Keep your anti-virus library up-to-date daily and don’t open any emails from businesses you don’t have a relationship with.

ANOTHER REPORTER TRASHED

Audrey Hudson, a former reporter for the WASHINGTON TIMES, was invaded by Law Enforcement in full body armor at her Chesapeake Bay home last August.  The U.S. Coast Guard, Maryland State Police and Department of Homeland Security agents rummaged through her house, ostensibly look for illegal firearms.  All firearms in the house were registered, but they took them anyway.  They also took documents she had obtained under the Freedom of Information Act and well as personal journalistic notes, neither of which were included in the search warrant.  The officers indicated they were miffed at an article she had previously written about the Federal Air Marshall program; she was told they were embarrassed about the article.

A. Criticizing the I.R.S. is akin to criticizing the K.G.B.  During the past decade, the IRS has handed out somewhere between $110 billion and $132 billion in improper EITC payments and they got away with it; not a head rolled.

A. Under direction of the Department of Homeland Security and, presumably, President Obama, Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response teams, (VIPR), are showing up in full body armor, fatigues and with guns at those places and bus stations, truck-weight stations, concerts and rodeos.  They say they usually operate in coordination with local law enforcement.  Yes, we ARE in a Police State mentality.

A. NEW INTRIGUING DETAILS ON BENGHAZI

A British eyewitness to the attack at Benghazi has been interviewed by 60 MINUTES and reports that Consulate personnel were well-aware far in advance that such an attack was inevitable.  Al Qaeda had issued warnings they were going after the Red Cross, the British and then the Americans at Benghazi.  Also, we learn that the attackers also went after a secret CIA annex about a mile away.  Many CIA personnel ignored pointed orders to the contrary, rushed to the Consulate and assisted in repelling the attack.   

COMMENTS:

In my considered opinion, it is becoming more and more obvious that Obama knew in advance that an attack was in the works and that he deliberately did nothing to prevent it or to provide additional security; in fact, security was reduced at Benghazi in the weeks and days before the massacre.  I believe that, if we ever do get to the bottom of this, we will find Obama was for some reason complicit.

A. Cuts to Medicaid and Medicare payments combined with the higher costs of providing insurance for healthcare employees are causing hospitals, long-term care facilities and clinics to lay off.  More than 41,000 have already bitten the dust.  We’re also seeing medical professionals take early retirement or to refuse to take Medicare and Medicaid.  Some providers are refusing to take any insurance at all. Americans are having fewer and fewer choices about who takes care of them and what kind of care they can get. 

Q. [Sunday] I was watching FOX NEWS and heard that there are hundreds of thousands of people losing their health care insurance, what will probably be in the millions as you reported.  But, what I didn’t know is that they are being offered replacement policies by their insurers.  Why hasn’t that been mentioned?  (Winston ~ Colorado Springs, CO)

A. The policies being offered have much higher deductibles, co-pays and premiums in order to comply with ObamaCare requirements.  The end result is that people are losing the policies they were promised they could keep and they are being forced into the ObamaCare they do not want.  “Better coverage,” Obama wants us to believe; why should a 74-year-old woman be required to pay for maternity insurance?    

Q. I read that 37% of middle-class Americans are saying they will never retire.  Why?  (Park ~ Sparks, NV)

A. The economy wiped out many savings and retirement programs.  The high cost of living prevented many people from saving at all.  Hundreds of thousands of people lost substantial investments in homes that were foreclosed upon.  People have lost jobs or been cut back on hours.  The retirement dream has been shattered.

IRAN CAN HAVE A NUKE WITHIN 30 DAYS!

It is widely recognized that Iran has been enriching uranium for years.  Reports surfacing yesterday are that they have stepped up to the last enrichment process, the creation of weapons-grade uranium.  Israel’s intelligence sources are now suggesting that Iran could assemble an operational nuclear weapon within 30 days.  "We have made it crystal clear – in all possible forums, that Israel will not stand by and watch Iran develop weaponry that will put us, the entire Middle East and eventually the world, under an Iranian umbrella of terror," Danny Danon, Israel's deputy defense minister has said. 

COMMENTS:

Oh, that’s bad, bad news, but not unexpected.  In the meanwhile, Obama continues to bury his head in the desert sand.  Maybe the Mayan calendar was wrong by a year; maybe the world ends December 22, 2013?  Let’s hope Putin can save the day again.

A. When the story first broke, they said that Obama wanted the change.  I do not know if that is true or not, but I would not be surprised.

This continuing “anti-God” vendetta against Christians is growing in this country.  You reported on how reservists and recruits are being indoctrinated that Christians are domestic terrorists, and the Army says it stopped that practice.  Then I see soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.  Finally, I hear the Air Force has removed the words, “so help me God,” from its Honor Oath.  What is going on and how can we stop it?  (Orville ~ Salt Lake City, UT)

A. Obama apparently has two agendas: remove Bibles and the Christian religion from the United States and take away our guns.  The time is rapidly approaching when Christians are going to have to stand up in this country and defend themselves and their religion, perhaps with their own blood.  The march toward fascism continues its relentless pace, picking up speed as it goes along.

OBAMA DEMANDS HIGHER DEBT

Barack Hussein Obama told high school students and teachers in Brooklyn Thursday: “This obsession with cutting just for the sake of cutting hasn’t helped our economy grow, it’s held us back,” Obama said. “It won’t help us build a better society for your generation.” 

COMMENTS:

You could say he is oblivious to the declining credit rating of the country.  You could also say that he is around the bend again.  I choose to believe, like many pundits, that this statement is just a ploy.  He’s in deep trouble with his domestic scandals… Benghazi, I.R.S., D.O.J., N.S.A., and I.R.S…. and the growing conundrum of the ObamaCare website has him twisting in every direction.   He’s famous for deflecting attention from one scandal by creating another and refocusing attention of the press and media.  He’s recently brought up immigration and now the debt ceiling as obvious attempts to deflect attention and focus again.  He’s not as dumb as he looks.  We just need to stay focused on what really matters.

OBAMACARE: HERE COME THE CANCELLATION NOTICES!

Major health insurers across the nation have begun sending out notices to policy holders that their health insurance is being cancelled because it does not comply with ObamaCare requirements.  These mean those former policy holders will have no choice but to sign up with ObamaCare.  Over 300,000 such notices have been sent to Floridians and almost 280,000 to Californians alone.  The total number dropped nationally will be in the millions. 

COMMENTS:

What was that about, “You can keep your current plan if you want?”  ObamaCare was sold to the Democratic House and to the American Public as one, big lie.

Q. Back on October 16^th, you reported on the U.S. Army training reservists that Christians are a domestic hate group because they advocate for traditional family values.  Yesterday, I see that the Army is halting that practice.  How do you feel about that victory?  (Morgan ~ Detroit, MI)

A. It is incomprehensible to me that the military can hire chaplains and encourage attendance at religious events on the one hand and then label Christians as a domestic hate group on the other.  I’m glad to see the change in instruction, but there is something far more sinister going on when our government uses educational settings to indoctrinate subjects into some propagandized agenda. 

Q. I’ve heard that N.S.A. was caught monitoring emails and/or phone calls from both Mexican and German presidents.  I thought they were both our allies.  (Gertrude ~ Yuba City, CA)

A. Our system of national security has morphed into the S.S.S. and K.G.B. mentality.  It has gotten entirely out of hand and the snoop thinking permeates every level of our society. This is largely due to the advancement of technology that makes it so much easier to accomplish.  This is not legal under the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution.  We are, by our silence on the subject, encouraging it to grow more insidious tentacles.

A. She didn’t exactly say that.  She said, “The majority of people calling for me to resign I would say are people who I don't work for, and who do not want this program to work in the first place.”  She does, in the literal sense, work for all of us, but her direct supervisor is not Congress or us, it’s Obama.  I’ll let her off the hook on this one so she can dangle by her mouse cord.

FORRESTAL SCRAPPED

Launched on December 11, 1954, the first super-carrier USS Forrestal is on the way to the scrapyard.  The ship had a crew of 3,500 and saw valiant action throughout the world.

She did a great service to this country and in the cause of freedom.  Being almost 60 years old, the ship had become an albatross hanging around the Navy’s neck.  No one wanted to buy her and turn her into a museum or even a giant arcade game.  We still have 85 or so B-52 jet bombers which have been around since about 1954; don’t you wonder when their wings are going to fall off?

A. What else could you call it?  Frankly, I was surprised it ended up in a government shutdown, but I think that was engineered by Obama.  When you look at their history since 2009, when has the Republican Party NOT caved in?

A. Wow, you’re really getting technical here, aren’t you?  There are 245 million able-bodied men, women and teens who would love to have a job.  More than 90.5 million of them are unemployed.   By MY calculations, that’s an astonishing 36.7% of real unemployment.

GRAYSON ACCUSES TEA PARTY OF BEING KU KLUX KLAN

Florida Representative Alan Grayson has E-mailed out campaign letters likening the Tea Parties to the K.K.K., complete with the image of a burning cross.  Grayson defended the email in a statement Tuesday afternoon, saying the tea party has long used racist and insensitive terms and imagery to refer to African Americans, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, and gays.  “There is overwhelming evidence that the Tea Party is the home of bigotry and discrimination in America today, just as the KKK was for an earlier generation.  If the shoe fits, wear it.”

COMMENTS:

Grayson is the epitome of left-wing liberalism.  Those guys seem to think that Freedom of Speech is their private property, that they can say whatever they want while telling other people to sit down and shut up.  His statements are not only outrageous, they are incendiary.  Floridians should be ashamed of themselves for sending such trash to our nation’s capital.  Such remarks are lower than a pregnant chad.

Not if your Senator Diane Feinstein has her way.  She says such spying is “lawful, effective and Constitutional.”  She basically says that unless they continue doing what they are doing, terrorists are going to get you.  I’d like to know how in the devil they can possibly shuffle through the billions of emails sent every day and pick out the one from the terrorist.  I’d also like to know whether or not they have been delving into the private lives of Tea Party members or Conservatives.
