And the market is down below 15,000 again. And unemployment figures have gone
south. And so on. The economy continues to be very fragile, and
along comes ObamaCare, just a month away.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. This really disturbs me.
There is an atheist group in Coos Bay, Oregon which is demanding the
removal of a cross honoring Vietnam Veterans.
Over the weekend, someone planted an I.E.D. [Improvised Explosive
Devise] there. Are we going to have
these godless creatures running around bombing all of our crosses now? (Debra ~ Riverside, CA)
A. This country is being torn apart from all
directions. Anybody who builds or uses
an I.E.D. needs to be tried for terrorism.
We Americans are going to have to become more vigilant about our
surroundings and who is in them and doing what.
Q. 54% of Colorado residents are against the state’s new gun
control laws. Will they get
repealed? (Lotus ~ Rawlins, WY)
A. Virtually every
sheriff and Deputy in Colorado is strongly opposed to the laws. Two state politicians are under recall
proceedings. The laws amount to an
all-out attack on the Second Amendment.
We can only hope they get repealed, but the current governor, John
Hickenlooper, is firmly in favor of them and likely to veto any repeal
attempt.
Q. How do you size up the internal Republican bickering over
ObamaCare and defunding? (Vance ~
Henderson, NV)
A. The struggle will evolve into a contest between the “Old
Guard” and the “Upstarts” for control of the Republican Party. By November of 2013, we should know which way
the party will head going into the 2014 elections.
