EFFECTIVE CENSORSHIP 101

Drew Johnson, former editor of the Chattanooga Times Free Press who wrote that now famous headline for the editorial page, “"Take your jobs plan and shove it, Mr. President," was fired.  There is no word as to whether or not the firing was requested by the White House.

COMMENTS:
Evidently, the newspaper is owned by liberals.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. With so many people and all of these cries against ObamaCare, including now the new Chief of the I.R.S., do you think there is any chance of repealing it?  (Tessie ~ Vacaville, CA)
A. All you have to do is pass a bill and talk Obama into signing it.  Chances are, he’ll sign that bill right after he signs to allow the Keystone Pipeline.

Q. I get bombarded with mail and e-mail and even phone calls asking me to call my Congress Member about something, and don’t forget to send a donation.  I’m sick and tired of it.  Do those organizations actually do any good?  (Iva Mae ~ Anacortes, WA)
A. Most of the money they generate goes to salaries and expenses.  There’s no agency I can think of to regulate them.  There are several organizations hawking anti-gun control lobbying, but the single and most reliable help in that respect comes from the N.R.A.  Here in California, I get a big kick out some of them.  Can you imagine me calling Barbara Boxer or Diane Feinstein to get them to vote against more gun control?

Q. The Congressional Black Caucus is supporting Sheila Jackson Lee for the Secretary of Homeland Security job.  What is your opinion of that?  (Burt ~ St. George, UT)
A. Why not Maxine Waters?  Al Sharpton?  Jesse Jackson?  Better yet, why not dismantle the whole damned thing and put that whole 1.6 billion rounds of ammo back on the market?
