ILLEGAL BORDER CROSSINGS SURGE

There has been a surge of illegal border crossings, allegedly  attributed to fear of the Mexican drug cartels and their spreading violence in that country.

COMMENTS:

If that is true and I certainly can believe it could be, then my take on the illegal situation in the country is somewhat altered; they have now become refugees.  You take refugees under your wings and set up refugee camps with housing, food and medical care.  You provide for them until it is safe for them to return to their homelands.  I believe that is what we should be doing; why hasn’t Obama suggested it?  Shouldn’t we be calling Congress back into session to deal with this problem?  No, I’m not being sarcastic; facetious maybe, but definitely not sarcastic.  Could it be that, since they would be sent back if and after the drug cartel violence is dealt with, they wouldn't be voting in our elections?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. I think it is disgusting the way some people are disrespecting our President, including you.  (Janelle ~ Morgan Hill, CA)
A. If he didn’t act like a jack ass, he wouldn’t be treated like one.

Q. I was reading about the priest who appeared out of nowhere and prayed for that girl in the car accident and then disappeared.  They thought it was a miracle; now he’s been found.  Do you believe in miracles?  (Sissy ~ Oswego, OR)
A. Yes, I do.  I’ve encountered some in my life, too many to write off as coincidences.  I believe there is a supreme power in the universe, an energy that cannot be explained by physics... or even psychics.

Q. A clown at the Missouri State Fair has been permanently banned from the rodeo circuit because he donned an Obama mask and poked fun at Obama.  Is that now against the law?  (Kevin ~ Dallas, TX)
A. Not unless you’re a left wing liberal or a Missouri Democrat.  The fact that this has happened confirms what I’ve often said here: “The country is filling up with zombies.” Just take an aspirin, say three "Allahs" and get some bed rest.

"Now, every transgender student in California will be able to get up in the morning knowing that when they go to school as their authentic self they will have the same fair chance at success as their classmates.” ~ Masen Davis, Executive Director of California’s Transgender Law Center  after Governor Jerry Brown signed new law allowing transgender students to decide which restrooms they want to use.
