SITUATION WORSENS ON KOREAN PENINSULA

With midget Kim Jong Un having cancelled the armistice between North Korea and South Korea and having issued haranguing ultimatums and threats to South Korea and the United States, the U.S. responded by deploying a ballistic missile defense ship and F-22 fighter jets to the area.  Yesterday, China started moving troops, artillery and warplanes to its border with North Korea.  North Korea has also deployed short and medium range mobile missiles which can readily be fired from its roadways.

COMMENTS:
All we need now is for someone to make the slightest mistake and we’re going to back at war in Korea.  In the meanwhile, our President has been on the golf course and attending NCAA basketball playoffs.  What was phrase about Nero fiddling while Rome burned?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I now understand not only has Colorado trashed the 2nd Amendment, but they’re going after the 1st Amendment as well.  Can you fill me in and what is going on in that state, anyway?  (Tyler ~ Moorpark, CA)
A. A FOX NEWS reporter received information about John Holmes, the alleged theater shooter, and she relayed that information to FOX, which used it.  The Judge in the case had issued a gag order to all law enforcement and court officials involved in the case and now is demanding that the reporter reveal her source, which she is thus far refusing to do.  The courts have traditionally held that reporters do not need to reveal the sources of their information because the right of the citizens to know what is going on in the country is paramount. Colorado is obviously infested with left-wing progressive liberals and would be better off if it seceded from the union.

Q. Although there are a lot of good economic indicators, there are also a lot of economists still insisting that the nation is in deep trouble and that a calamity is just around the corner.  What’s the reality?  (Ginger ~ Auburn, CA)
A. The improvements are artificial; the fact is that the Treasury has been printing billions of dollars in additional currency every month.  Other nations, including China, are considering refusing to recognize the U.S. Dollar as the international standard backup currency.  Still other nations are starting to demand increased payments in order to make up for the dollar’s actual devalued worth, (due to inflation).  Other nations, such as Germany, are so wary that an international bust is about to happen that they have been retrieving their gold reserves held in other countries, including the U.S.  What happens when some country calls in its U.S. held gold and we don’t have it to give?  What happens if the world switches to the Chinese yen as being the international standard backup currency?  It’s all extremely fragile right now and the situation is getting worse by the day.  What would you do if you can’t get paid, can’t get to your money in the bank and can’t use credit cards?  How much food do you have on hand?  How are you going to pay your rent or mortgage?

Q. Stockton, California has filed for bankruptcy protection.  How will that affect the economy?  (Beyonce ~ Malibu, CA)
A. Investors in municipal bonds are likely to start running for the hills, as they should.  There are more cities on the verge.  This could be the start of something really bad, (see question above).  Physical gold or silver, valuable jewels and quality guns are excellent things to invest in right now.
