South Korea says North Korea has moved a missile with
'considerable range' to its east coast after a spokesman warned North Korea's
army has been cleared to wage nuclear attack on the U.S. using smaller and
lighter nuclear weapons. The spokesman
speculates the missile could not reach the U.S. (READ

COMMENTS:
I don’t know about you, but I am getting really
uncomfortable with this situation. I
learned yesterday that the reason China has moved troops and aircraft to its
borders is to prevent North Koreans from fleeing into China. That means to me that they are not
comfortable with this situation, either.
Oh, and by the way… Obama spent the weekend on the golf course
again.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Is ObamaCare falling apart? (Wylie ~ Reno, NV)
A. Not yet, but it is crumbling at its foundations. Take California, where most people have
seen 40% hikes in their insurance
premiums over the last three years; now, almost 2 million of them are looking
at 30% more in hikes this year. In the
case of individuals with incomes of $46,000 and higher and families with
incomes above $94,000 a year who have insurance, but not through their
employers, rates will rise an average of 30 percent. In the meantime, the government is nowhere
near ready to implement the exchanges and is going to delay that provision for
a year; we don’t know what effect that will have on costs or effectiveness of
the program. Finally, more and more
businesses are opting to cut employees down to 49 or to cut hours down to 29 to
avoid the high costs of the program, while more and more hidden taxes in the
plan are coming to light. What a boondoggle this is!
Q. THE BLAZE is saying that a lawsuit filed by the Pacific
Legal Foundation contends that the Affordable Care Act is
unconstitutional because the bill originated in the Senate, not
the House. Under the Origination Clause of the Constitution, all bills
raising revenue must begin in the House and the Supreme Court has already ruled
the law to be a tax. Is there a chance
this suit could win the day for us?
(Phyllis ~ Brentwood, CA)
A. Yes, there is that chance, but not today or
tomorrow. If it wins, it will be
contested on appeal and take its time to reach the Supreme Court for final
determination. Obama may well be in his
third term by that time.
Q. John Kerry says the U.S. will not accept or tolerate a North
Korea with nuclear weapons. Just what is
he going to do about it? (Darth ~
Medford, OR)
A. He’s probably planning on winning another Purple
Heart. He should take note of the fact
that North Korea has already conducted nuclear tests and missile tests. I think that means North Korea is already a
nuclear state and it happened on Obama’s watch.
Former CIA Director Michael Hayden said
this week, that he worries that the current situation with the North is
extremely dangerous and is becoming more so by the year. “We’ve simply taught
the North Koreans that they can do these kinds of things with impunity. And now
I think we are very much on the edge.”
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“There is a Western world. There is America. There is Great
Britain and Germany and France and Russia and China and other nations. I doubt
that there is one country amongst those I mentioned which has a desire to see
Iran, with its fundamentalist, Islamic, extremist government, possessing
nuclear weapons.” ~ Ehud Olmert
