FONDA FLIPS OFF VETERANS AGAIN

It is no secret that Jane Fonda cavorted with the enemy during the Vietnam War and protested the war vehemently.  In Hanoi, she called American soldiers “war criminals” and had her picture taken whIle sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft battery.  She has since said that she regretted the picture, but that she had every right to protest the war.  She is now cast as Nancy Reagan in a new movie called “THE BUTLER.” Veterans are calling for a boycott to the movie, to which Fonda responded yesterday, “Get a life.”

COMMENTS:
Well, we veterans have a life, Miss Fonda.  We are Americans and we are all damned proud of our country.  We don’t have much use for people to who try to tear our country down or apart.  Most of us did not like the Vietnam War, either; war is hell.  But, we were there for our country.  We, as Americans, are unlike you and Barack Hussein Obama; we love our country.  We fly our flags high and with reverence; we appreciate our forefathers for creating and defending our country; and like you, we have every right to protest and we intend to do it by not watching your frickin’ movie.  As they say, “Paybacks are a bitch,” no matter how many years it takes.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why would someone come out so quickly to say who bugged Mitch McConnell’s campaign office?  Normally, you have to get court orders and literally drag the truth out.  (Marcie ~ Lake Forest Park, WA)
A. A Kentucky Democratic operative said the secret taping was done by a local liberal group and the operative became aware of it and didn’t want it to taint the Democratic Party.  That certainly sounds plausible; however, it could well be a cover-up story as you suggest.  It does kind of sound like the White House announcing within hours that the Benghazi Massacre was really a simple demonstration about an anti-Muslim video gone bad, doesn’t it?

Q. Why won’t the Chinese stop the North Korean rhetoric and threats?  They certainly have the ability to do so.  (Rafael ~ San Clemente, CA)
A. Evidently, because they don’t want to.  At the best, this will eventually lead to a strong American military presence in the South China Sea, which the Chinese do not want.  Based on that, you would presume they would want to rein Kim Jong Un in; the fact that they are not speaks volumes about their true intentions.

Q. I understand that Libya is trying to disarm its citizens and is having trouble doing so.  Why do they want to disarm them and why the resistance?  The war is over.  (Barbie ~ Ruidoso, NM)
A. The rebel militias there are still fighting among themselves to some extent.  However, they are all using their arms as bargaining chips in an effort to obtain some significant say-so in the Libyan government.  They are afraid that giving up their weapons will result in losing their ability to defend themselves against another tyrannical government such as they had under Gadhafi.  To be perfectly honest, that is in large part why Americans are never going to give up their guns.
