GUN CONTROL MOVES TO FRONT BURNER

Already, the Obama administration has moved forward with its plans to support a United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. On Wednesday November 7th, the day after the Election, the U.S. Mission to the U.N. made clear its support for renewed Arms Trade Treaty negotiations, casting a vote in favor of resolution A/C.1/67/L.11. The resolution calls for a "Final United Nations Conference" to be held in New York City in March.  Among the draft's, (July 2012), most onerous requirements are those intending to burden and keep records on "end users," or gun owners. Records shall be kept for a minimum of ten years.  The purchase and ownership of ammunition would be within the scope of this new worldwide treaty, a treaty which would raise a Constitutional conflict between the government’s right to make treaties and the Second Amendment.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I cannot believe they are considering Susan Rice for Secretary of State after she blatantly lied about the Benghazi massacre.  Why? (Herb ~ Burlingame, CA)
A. She did what she was told to do by Obama and Clinton and has therefore passed the loyalty test.  Whether she told the truth or not is immaterial; Obama got reelected by an overwhelming mandate, remember?

Q. Obama is holding meetings this week with various groups to discuss economics and the fiscal cliff.  He’s met with union officials, then representatives of big business, then consumer groups.  Why not small business owners?  (Ella ~ San Clemente, CA)
A. Logically, most small business owners voted against Obama in the election, which is why they are being left out.  And that, my friend, is how Kenyans play the political game.

Q. Will Obama now have his way on tax increases, immigration and gun control?  (Terry ~ Grants Pass, OR)
A. Just who is going to stop him?  You?  You already voted, remember?  I think, by and large, Obama will get his way.  The Republicans certainly have no standing to stop him.
