OBAMA’S SYRIAN STRATEGY “ABSOLUTE FAILURE”

The White House yesterday angrily denounced a bloody overnight raid on Aleppo University by Syrian troops, and warned that it is near time for the world to "admit defeat" in its current strategy to drive President Bashar al-Assad's regime out.  "If the regime's intransigence continues, the international community is going to have to admit defeat and work to address the serious threat to peace and stability being perpetrated by the Assad regime" through the U.N. Security Council, said spokesman Jay Carney.

COMMENTS:
I suppose this means another illegal introduction of U.S. troops, somewhat akin to what Obama did in Libya and Somalia, is in the works.  Obama ignored the law that requires Congressional approval in those instances.  Syria is, of course, tied to Iran at the hips; this means that China and Russia will oppose any U.N. action in Syria.  Perhaps Obama will once again turn to NATO to run cover for him.  As bad as the situation is in Syria, we have no legal authority to intervene unless they oppose a threat to international security or the security of the United States.  But then again, when has Obama obeyed any law?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think of the Spirit Airlines decision not to refund an advance ticket fare to a Marine now diagnosed with terminal cancer?  (Rena ~ Carson City, NV)
A. Spirit is in the league of Netflix, Google and other firms who have lost touch with the reality of the fact that the consumer can put them out of business.  Spirit needs to go down in flames.  Sell your stock and transfer your flying business to someone else today.  They are despicable.  They probably don't employ any vets, either.

Q. Obama’s new campaign slogan is “Forward.”  Forward to where?  (Bob ~ Rialto, CA)
A. Into the great abyss.  Down the tubes.  To a new government.  Hitler’s Youth Camps used the same slogan.  So did Mao.

Q. I wondered when this would happen.  Rupert Murdock is in deep trouble in Britain and he owns Fox.  I hear there are some liberal groups trying to force the FCC to yank broadcasting licenses for 27 Fox organizations including Fox News.  Can they succeed?  (Babe ~ Boise, ID)
A. If Obama gets reelected, yes.  Silence the opposition.  Shut down the truth.  These are tactics employed by those who seek to change a government and take over a country.  The number of these “signs” is increasing dramatically and becoming much more ominous.  The election in November will be the most important election ever to take place in this country.
