Barack Obama’s openly support of
the gay rights issue has angered many, many segments of the Black Christian
community.
COMMENTS:
Of course, Obama depends on the
black community to support him in the coming election. This outrage is an ominous sign, as it well
should be. But, this is not just a Black
issue. It’s a religious issue and what
Obama is saying, staring all Christians
straight in the face, is that he doesn’t care what those religious beliefs are,
his belief trumps anything else. He puts himself above God and state
rights. I know how I will vote against
this potentate in November.

Q. I understand a new debt ceiling crisis
looms. We’ve been having such a mountain
of continuing bad economic predictors; what does this mean? (Cecelia ~ Burney, CA)
A. Fox News is reporting that “House
Speaker John Boehner on Tuesday teed up another debt-ceiling brawl, announcing
that Republicans will insist on the same kinds of demands that Democrats claim
brought the country close to its first-ever default last summer.” Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, preempting
Boehner's remarks, made an appeal Tuesday morning to avert that battle and
simply raise the debt ceiling without comment. Here’s another
Administration Edict: “Do as I command.”
Q. I see a Catholic university in Ohio is dropping its student insurance benefits due to the ObamaCare program. What’s your opinion? (Benjamin ~ Artesia, CA)
A. When you have a budget to meet
and costs rise, you have to look for alternatives. This should be no surprise to anyone; we saw
it coming way back when Nancy Pelosi said that Congress would simply have to
pass the legislation so that we would know what was in it. Everyone who voted for this legislation should be voted out of office.
Q. TSA has done it again. I read that they put former Secretary of
State Henry Kissinger through a full body search a few days ago. What’s the story? (Carlisle ~ Sun City, AZ)
A. TSA begs off by saying they didn’t
know who the guy was. That’s a good
enough reason, but the 88-year-old was in a wheel chair and had presumably
shown his identification. I’ll bet he was followed in line by six Muslims in
full regalia who got through without even a second glance. When’s the last time an 88-year-old Secretary
of State in a wheelchair carried a bomb, and when is the last time a Muslim
carried a bomb aboard an aircraft? Horse
manure.
