CIA agents have arrested at least one individual who
intended to blow up a US airliner during the Bin Laden anniversary. The bomb used has resolved the problems with
the bomb used in the famous Christmas plot of 2010; it contains no metal and
can therefore get through security screenings, and its trigger mechanism is
much improved. Word coming out late
yesterday is that more of these underwear bombs could have been manufactured
and now in the hands of those ready to use them.
COMMENTS:
Obama personally caught him, red-handed. Well, he hasn’t said that yet, but just give
him a day or two. He shot Bin Laden, you
know. He probably would have invented
the Internet if Al Gore hadn’t beaten him to it. But, this is serious business
and puts the nation at heightened risk of flying. Maybe TSA will require that all passengers
fly without underwear.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Now that it’s been a while since Romney garnered the
Republican nomination, how is he really standing against Obama? (Randolph ~ Newbury Park, CA)
A. When you factor in a +/- 3% accuracy factor, virtually
all polls have them in a dead heat, kind of like they had Obama stacked up with
McCain the night before Obama took McCain to a shellacking.
Q. I hear the 911 trials at Gitmo are underway and it’s like
a big circus. What’s going on? (Justine ~ Boise, ID)
A. The defendants are demanding prayer breaks and that any
women in the courtroom veil their faces.
They also refused to wear headsets that provided simultaneous
translations so the charges had to be read out in Arabic, adding an estimated
two hours to the proceedings. Can you imagine what would be going on if the
trials were in New York City?
Q. I understand the stadium where Obama conducted his campaign
kickoff was not full. What
happened? (Don ~ Colorado Springs, CO)
A. Well, for one thing, the TV cameras never panned the
audience, so no one knew 30% to 40% of the seats were empty. It would be interesting to know what happened
to the TV viewers when the kick-off started; how many switched channels to
something else or turned their TV sets off?
Maybe, just maybe, Americans are starting to see the reality of Obama’s
disastrous Presidency.

terrible thing about terrorism is that ultimately it destroys those who
practice it. Slowly but surely, as they try to extinguish life in others, the
light within them dies.” ~ Terry Waite
