The House Oversight Committee has issued a draft contempt of Congress citation against Attorney General Eric Holder for refusing to provide requested documents and information pertaining to the Fast and Furious gun-running case. The 44-page complaint asks the full House to hold Holder in contempt for “failure to comply with a congressional subpoena.” Fast and Furious was a scheme in which the ATF allowed nearly 2,000 weapons to be bought and smuggled across the border where they fell into the hands of violent Mexican drug cartels; the Administration intended to use this story to demand closure of gun shops.
COMMENTS:
The question is not if Holder knew of the scheme, but if
Rahm Emmanuel and President Obama knew of the scheme. The firm denial of response by Holder and the
fact that he lied and misled Congress regarding his knowledge of the scheme all
adds up to Holder’s protection of “higher ups.”
This total abuse of power by the Administration surpasses even Attorney
General John Mitchell’s cover-up of Watergate for Nixon.

A. Anyone who has not experienced the passions and intense
feelings of an affair is unqualified to answer that question; I know from my
own experiences. Whatever he did,
whatever moves he made, were done with the thought of maintaining his
extra-marital relationship; they were not done with the thought of avoiding or
ignoring the law. He has not done wrong
to his fellow citizens; if anyone should go to jail for doing wrong, it should
be Barack Hussein Obama.
