FED JUDGE: CUT TEN COMMANDMENTS TO SIX

Federal Judge Michael Urbanski has suggested that the Giles County School Board in Virginia reduce the Ten Commandments to six in a school display.  That unorthodox suggestion was made by Judge Michael Urbanski during oral arguments over whether the display amounts to a governmental endorsement of religion, as alleged in a lawsuit filed by a student at Narrows High School. He proposed that the first four Commandments are religious and the rest are not.  "If indeed this issue is not about God, why wouldn't it make sense for Giles County to say, 'Let's go back and just post the bottom six?'" Urbanski asked during a motions hearing in U.S. District Court in Roanoke.

COMMENTS:
Since the words “under God” are objectionable in the Pledge, let’s remove those, too.  Let’s take out the second stanza of the Star Spangled Banner.  Let’s remove the American flag from the Iwo Jima memorial.  I’m sorry, Judge Urbanksi, but what you are suggesting is censorship.  You choose to stifle my expression, whatever it is.  You choose to decimate God’s Ten Commandments by suggesting that the first are not religious and can be stricken.  Well, sir, may God damn you and the jackass you rode in on.  Why can’t you stand up and be an American?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I understand that President Obama arranged to have his Selective Service draft records destroyed.  How and why?  (Lenora ~ Bismarck, SD)
A. There were changes made in the wording of Selective Service System record-keeping requirements almost immediately after the opening of an investigation into the alleged forgery of President Obama’s Selective Service registration form.  The status change of federal records, like the requested draft registration records, from “record copies” to “nonrecord copies” allows copies to be disposed of.  Obama has done everything possible to prevent anyone from looking at any record that might disclose his true nationality.  Why would he do that?  Because he has something to hide.

Q. You haven’t really commented on Wisconsin Governor’s recall election.  Why?  (Deeann ~ Scotts Valley, CA)
A. I guess because there have been so many other things to comment on.  That recall election is about absolute union control over government.  The decision should be obvious: the government belongs to all of us, we… the people.  If Walker loses and the unions win, that could spell economic disaster for the country.  They are totally out of control and out of reality in this issue, and they need to be stopped.

Q. According to Rasmussen, Romney leads Obama by 7% in the polls.  What’s your response?  (Monti ~ Albuquerque, NM)
A. All polls capture opinion only at a particular time.  Opinions change.  Although I really like the figure, we’re not in November yet.  We have lots of work to do together to get this scum out of office.
