Q. When will the bad news ever end? The costs for the new ObamaCare were “understated”
by $50 billion? (Gwen ~ Boise, ID)
A. The whole thing is almost $1 trillion out-of-whack in and
of itself. They’re still reading the
damned bill and the bills are still coming in. That alone is one big reason why this albatross
needs to be trashed. If we could burn
all of the paper used to print the damned thing, we could cut energy costs in Washington
by $1 billion.
Q. There sure is a lot of talk about Rick Perry jumping into
the Republican race. What do you
think? (Tyler ~ Waco, TX)
A. If he’s so damned good, how come they’re so anxious to
get him out of Texas? I know that the
country desperately needs a real leader, but be careful; look what happened
when the nation made its last desperate grasp for leadership. In my opinion, there’s still no shining star
in the field and it is still early yet. Let’s
not have another rush to judgment.
Q. There’s been another U.S. girl murdered in Aruba? (Chase ~ Los Angeles, CA)
A. A 35 year-old lady
from Maryland who bears some resemblance to Natalie Holloway has disappeared
from the same resort. She and a male companion evidently went snorkeling and
the man returned to shore without her. No,
his name was not Van der Sloot and, oddly, he was not her boyfriend. Her boyfriend suspects foul play. Since it’s Aruba, there will probably be
another botched investigation.
