During the State of the Union address in January of 2010, Congressman Joe Wilson of South Carolina hollered those famous words, “You lie!” when Obama claimed that ObamaCare would not be available to illegal aliens. Wilson got into hot water and had to apologize, but it has recently come to light that ObamaCare will not deny service to illegal aliens; in fact, they’re not even going to ask for identification or immigration status.
COMMENTS:
I have said over, and over, and over again that you cannot believe
one word Obama says. Whenever he starts
to speak, turn the TV off. Watch what he
does, not what he says. It is a sad thing to say about any President
of the United States, but shame, shame on Barack Obama for being untrustworthy
as the first black President of the
United States.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What is your honest opinion of the “Special Committee of
12?” (Harvey ~ Chester, CA)
A. It’s a farce. The
way the membership is comprised, nothing will get accomplished and it’s really
the job of the whole Congress. It is one
of the worst things that could possibly happen.
In fact, the whole debt-ceiling increase, committee, and so forth were
horrible legislation and I am damned angry at any Republican who voted for
it. The Democrats don’t know any better
than to do what Obama commands, but Republicans do. They just don’t have the spine to do what is
needed in the best interests of the country and they, too, need to be replaced
in 2012.
Q. Are the Tea Parties folding up? (Maureen ~ Santa Rosa, CA)
A. Quite to the contrary.
I was at a meeting last night and it was quite active. Most Tea Party organizations are prohibited
by the nature of their charters and tax categories from becoming too
politically active and they serve the public through educational meetings so that
we have a better informed electorate.
They also attend meetings of public officials to ask questions and
probe. You would be well-advised to
attend a meeting, regardless of your political affiliation. For one thing, you will enjoy the company of
some really great people and have the opportunity to see racists and terrorists close up.
Q. What do you think of the Federal Reserve? (Will ~ Tacoma, WA)
A. It’s founding was the beginning of the decline of
America. That and taking the country off
of the gold standard were horrible tricks played out upon an unwitting
public.
