The Obama Administration has sicked the Securities and
Exchange Commission on Standard & Poor’s with an investigation into who in
the company knew of the impending downgrade and whether or not they made use of
that knowledge to obtain personal gain on the market. The Credit Rating Agency Reform Act of 2006
states that an agency could have its license revoked if it leaks information
prior to disclosing a move on a rating.
COMMENTS:
What else should we expect our of this Administration? What we have in the White House is
nothing more than a bunch of thugs. They
do what they want, when they want, to whom they want and if someone doesn’t
like it or speaks out about it, they are going to regret it. We have allowed, even invited, the worst kind
of scum in the world to occupy the halls of government in our country. We need to fix it, because unless we do, we
cannot trust the results of the next election.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Ron Paul says we should let Iran have the nuclear
bomb. What say you? (Chester ~ Redding, CA)
A. How about North Korea, Venezuela and Cuba? Why not Libya and Syria? How about Hezbollah and Al Qaeda? Palestine?
Why not? Where do you draw the
line? All you are asking for is a
nuclear WW III. That was one of the most
stupid stands I have ever heard anyone make, let alone a Presidential
candidate. And it’s a copout. That just shows me he not only doesn’t know
how to deal with the situation, but he doesn’t want to deal with it.
Q. The guy’s name is Rick PARRY, not Perry. (Horace ~ Lansing, MI
A. Gosh, the Governor’s website in Texas has it wrong,
too. (Thank God Schwarzenegger is not in
there. He can’t be because he’s not a natural
born citizen? But, what about… Oh, that’s
not politically correct to talk about that?)
Anyway, listening to Perry talk about the small town he was born in,
Paint Creek, Texas, kind of brought to
mind Searchlight, Nevada and Harry Reid. If you close your eyes and listen, he sounds just like George Bush.
Q. What in the hell has happened to Tiger Woods’ golf
game? (Kyle ~ Carmel, CA)
A. Two things: A big head and a broken marriage.
TODAY’S QUOTE:
“And beyond that, the next issue is how do
we guarantee one of these weapons, not necessarily this missile, but nuclear
weapons ends up in the hands of Al Qaeda or some other terrorist group?” ~ Lawrence Eagleburger
