COMMENTS:
The Mars Probe “Opportunity” has been sending back pictures
from the edge of a 14-mile wide crater that it just reached. Here’s a picture that Opportunity evidently
took of itself which is, of course, ridiculous to even suggest. But, a recent NASA release shows the picture,
purportedly at the crater. The only
possible explanation as to how it could create “spin” to show a picture of
itself is that it is a Democrat.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What did you think about the Iowa debate last night? (Barbara ~ Des Moines, WA)
A. Some provocative questions, for sure. If you’re asking me to choose a winner, it’s
a tossup between Sarah Palin and Rick Perry.
Q. The stock market rallied again yesterday. It’s been up and down and up and down and
up. What’s next? (Hank ~ Anderson, CA)
A. To me, there are two things that interest me more than
anything else: jobs and the economy.
Both situations suck. The stock
market is nothing more than a giant casino with big bucks seeking to make more
big bucks. Whatever the market does is
fundamentally immaterial until the other two issues are resolved.
Q. Obama has again said he wants jobs to be the number one
issue and he took a bad shot at Congress for failing to do its job. What do you think? (Tanya ~ Redding, CA)
A. Well, Congress has
failed to do its job. Obama has guts; he’s shucked and ducked on the important
issues more than any President ever. He’s
playing the blame someone else game again, and the only reason he chose
Congress instead of the Tea Parties is that the Congressional poll ratings are
lower. He’s so far out in left left
field that he’s on another planet.
