OBAMA’S BUDGET GETS A BIG BOO

President Obama revealed his proposed FY2012 Budget Wednesday that lines up to about $14 trillion in cuts over the next 12 years.  It has since been castigated with surprise by pundits from both sides of the political fence.  In the meantime, the House has passed Paul Ryan’s budget cuts of $6.2 trillion over 10 years along strict party lines.

COMMENTS:
Why anyone should be surprised, I don’t know.  Obama has made it clear he doesn’t want his illustrious health care plan touched in any way.  He’s participated in chicanery about this subject and every other important subject since the day he was born, if he was ever born that is.  I will say this: the FY 2011 budget cut started off being $100 billion and ended up being $353 million.  If Obama thinks he’s going to turn $6.2 trillion into $21 billion, he literally will be tarred and feathered before being run out of the country on a rail.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q.  What’s your opinion of the sleeping FAA Controller issue?  (Lars ~ Truckee, CA)
A.  I’d rather have a sleeping controller than a sleeping pilot.

Q.  Will hybrid cars really save us energy?  (Nancy ~ Coeur d’Alene, ID)
A.  No.  It’s a farce.  It takes energy to make methanol, electricity, bio-diesel and hydrogen, as well as energy to drill for and transport natural gas.  It’s like daylight savings time; you don’t save a damned thing.  Now, if you have a Congressman as a passenger, you can get your natural gas for free.

Q.  I hear ABC is cancelling soap operas.  How come?  (Walt ~ Kerrville, TX)
A.  Nobody’s watching.  All of the women in the country are busy driving around, texting each other and doing their makeup.

“I can make a firm pledge, under my plan; no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.” ~ Barack Obama
