OBAMA’S FAILED TERRORISM POLICY

There we were again yesterday with a suspicious package in Times Square in front of the Marriott. The day before, it was a guy on a Greyhound Bus in New Hampshire claiming he had a bomb, and we had smoking luggage at the Seattle-Tacoma airport.

COMMENTS:
The fact is that we’ve had three major attacks on U.S. soil since Obama took office… three more than Bush had in the seven years after 9/11. One, Fort Hood ended in disaster. But for the grace of God and bomber ineptness, the other two, (Christmas Day bomber and Times Square bomber), would have succeeded causing hundreds of injuries and deaths. Quick reaction to all events resulted in prompt apprehending of those responsible, but the fact is that we should have been prepared to head all three of those events off before they ever got to the point that they did. The fact also is that Obama finds water-boarding to be cruel, terrorists to be entitled to Miranda Rights and the full protection of our legal system, Guantanamo to be an unacceptable repository for terrorists and a compelling need to apologize to other countries for our behavior.

With unemployment back up and a failed immigration policy to boot, why doesn’t he go beg hat-in-hand to Tim Geithner for a few billion dollars to temporarily hire a million or so Americans long enough to chase the illegals and terrorists out of the country? Take another bow, Mr. President; you’re such a great thinker.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think we will end up doing about the immigration problem? (Nancy ~ Carpenteria, CA)
A. Stalling the issue until after the November elections. Obama will continue to blame Arizona, as if they created the problem instead of Washington, while trying to deflect criticism to the Tea Party and "racist" America. Obviously, this brilliant, well-spoken, Harvard graduate, first black President is unfit for leading this country to anywhere except over a cliff while trying to emulate Greece’s Socialist government.

Q. What are they going to do about the massive oil leak in the Gulf? (Shaver ~ Taos, NM)
A. Cap it and trade it?

Q. Do you think Americans can ever recover from what our government has done to this country over the last 20 years? (Winston ~ Little Rock, AR)
A. We are resilient. We can do anything if we stick together. Number one, we need to vote all incumbents out. Number two, we need to tell the new guys to start cutting the size and scope of government and to start transferring power back to the states and to the people where it belongs. Number three, we need to hold their feet to the fire and run them off in 2012 if they don’t comply. We can do this if we all stand together, shoulder to shoulder, steadfastly bound in the determination to bring our government back to Constitutional limitations.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.” ~ Theodore Roosevelt
