HOW WE CAN GET OUT OF THIS OBAMACARE MESS

Every day that goes by reveals that many, many misrepresentations were made both to the American people and to the Congressional members who voted for it.

COMMENTS:
When you go to a car lot and the salesman grossly misrepresents the car you are looking at, or when you go to buy a house and the owner doesn’t disclose material defects with the property or house itself, you have the right to go to court to have the contract canceled.  I believe the House or the Senate or both should file an emergency petition with the Supreme Court to decide whether or not the numerous representations are serious enough that they go to the heart of the law that was passed, and if that law should therefore be set aside.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I think it’s great that the Obama team has secured a peaceful solution to the Iran crisis.  Why can’t you accept that?  (Irma ~Port Angeles, WA)
A. Iran has hated Israel for decades if not centuries.  Iran has been working relentlessly on their nuclear program for many years through talks and relaxed sanctions, sword waving by the U.S. and other adversities.  They’ve been to North Korea to observe nuclear tests there.  They’ve lied and cheated on previous deals they have made.  Anyone… anyone who thinks that Barack Obama, especially after the way he stumbled through the Syrian “red line” mess, is going to be able to wave a magic wand and get Iran to back down has not bothered to study up on the history of things.  The President of Iran is a figurehead; the power rests with the radical religious mullahs.  They are the ones behind the nuclear push and they have not changed their makeup.

Q. Why is it that whenever the heat is on Obama, he leaves town?  (Shirley ~ Merced, CA)
A. He believes in the saying, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going… out of town.”

Q. Given Obama’s disdain for the military and his purging of top military brass, is the military doing anything to fight back?  (Arden ~ Eugene, OR)
A. A group of retired and purged military officers has formed a group to keep track of Obama and his actions on national security and economic issues.  “America’s Provisional Leadership Council” will look at major concerns, as outlined by Army Gen. Paul E. Vallely and Air Force Brig. Gen. Charles Jones.  The Americans Project, Vallely says, is a “movement, not a new party necessarily. “ We want candidates to run as Americans first before being a Democrat, Republican or Independent.”

ADMINISTRATION OUTS ON FULL COURT PRESS: IRANIAN DEAL IS EVEN BETTER THAN OBAMACARE!

Obama and Kerry are now out on the air and into the hinterlands trying to sell their wonderful Iranian deal to the American people and Benjamin Netanyahu.

COMMENTS:
As Charles Krauthammer said last night, “This is a sham.”  It’s also a shame that our President thinks we’re dumb enough to fall for more of his same old Obamanure.  Where he gets the gall to try and steer our attention away from his disastrous ObamaMare and the multitude of lies and deceptions contained therein to another pile of wild goose dung, I will never know.  I can’t think of anything nice to say about it except, maybe, that it stinks more than any other pile of crap currently in existence.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. If you had your choice, would you rather have the Republicans in charge, or the Democrats?  (Leah ~ Reno, NV)
A. Oh, you surely know how to give me heartburn, don’t you?  Of course, the real answer is that I’d rather have the citizens in charge, as it should be.

Q. Afghanistan is talking about bringing back stoning as a punishment for adultery.  Isn’t that rather barbaric, considering the times?  (Tillie ~ Santa Cruz, CA)
A. It’s better than the alternatives… emasculation for the male and burning at the stake for the woman.  I think this country needs to get back to some of its moral and religious roots as well,   such as impeachment for a President who flagrantly violates the law and openly lies to the people.

Q. Is the government going to make its self-imposed November 30 deadline for having the ObamaCare website up and going? (Lyle ~ Rock Springs, WY)
A. Here’s a clue: The administration came up with a, “Now, ObamaCare is even better than ever!” plan.  You can contact your insurance company directly and sign up that way, so you don’t have to use the great ObamaMare website if you don’t want to.  Isn’t that exciting?  Have some marsh mellows in your hot chocolate and live it up.

A GAME OF CHICKEN YOU DO NOT WANT TO PLAY

Chicken, Alaska is a small, sleepy, gold mining town, (population 17), situated near Alaska’s eastern border with Canada.  Sometime during the third week of August, 2013, several groups of heavily armed EPA Alaska Environmental Crimes Task Force Officers wearing full-body armor and jackets emblazoned with large “POLICE” signs on them, swarmed into the town like the German Gestapo, accusing residents of violating Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.  The Act deals with the discharge of pollutants into running water.  The EPA has refused to publicly explain why it used armed officers as part of what it called a “multi-jurisdictional” investigation of possible Clean Water Act violations in the area.

COMMENTS:
First off, I don’t understands the guns, the body armor and the “storming” of a small town of 17 over a supposed environmental crime which has yet to be proven.  Would you expect a guy dumping a bad chemical into the water to have 20 armed confederates with him?  Why do EPA agents even carry guns?  This is an unexplained outrage and an outright affront to every free American.  This is what our government is changing to under the Obama regime.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Now that the deal has been struck, are you still suspicious about the six-month nuclear deal with Iran?  (Cory ~ Tacoma, WA)
A. Yes.  I think the Iranians either already have their nuke or they are so close to having it that they may be assembling it right now.  Their deal calls for no more enrichment of uranium to nuclear weapons grade for six months.  In return, they get more easing of sanctions and access to some of the billions of dollars that has been accumulating in frozen bank accounts.  To me, this is a one-sided deal, probably unenforceable since they just discovered another secret location the Iranians have been using to enrich uranium.  Although he knows the deal is a bad deal, Obama had put tremendous pressure on all parties to reach SOME deal to try and detract attention from Benghazi and ObamaCare woes.

Q. Whatever happened to the story that the Labor Department falsified unemployment figures just before the 2012 elections in order to help Obama win reelection?  (Chastity ~ Oakland, CA)
A. It was revealed Thursday or Friday that a top-level official in the Department of Commerce ordered the deception.  The liberal press is not even covering the story.

Q. A CNN poll says that 75% of Republican Congressmen do not deserve reelection.  Do you agree?  (Prentice ~ Colorado Springs, CO)
A. Absolutely.  Furthermore, 99.99993% of Democrats do not deserve reelection.

IRANIAN TALKS ONE BIG FARCE

Iran has imposed a new condition on any deal: it must be allowed to continue its uranium enrichment process.  In the meanwhile, the U.S. continues to appear willing to drop almost all sanctions against Iran in return for a mere six-month moratorium and talk fest.

COMMENTS:

After all of these years of sashaying around the goal post, we are not closer to resolving the issue; however, the Iranians are much closer to having their bomb.  At this point, I think it could be a matter of days… a mere few weeks at the most… before their bomb is assembled and sitting on top of a missile.  There is only one language that could possibly bring this matter to a close:  “You have 24 hours to cease and desist or we will destroy your sites and your military installations.”

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:

Q. Do you believe Oswald was the lone assassin of President Kennedy?  (Ricardo ~ Dallas, TX)
A. No.  Having watched the various scenarios over the last few days, I am of the opinion there were two or three assassins.  What intrigues me is the guy with the umbrella… the only guy with an umbrella on a sunshiny, cool and breezy day. .. And the fact that Kennedy was shot as soon as the umbrella opened.  If you were going to have more than one assassin in different locations, you would have to have a method of signaling them in order to coordinate the shooting.  The umbrella could be seen from the Depository, the Shady Knoll and another building where some think shots were fired.  Whether or not the assassins ever met or knew of each other is open to conjecture.  The appearance of Jack Ruby at precisely the time Oswald was being transported to the jail, and the fact that Secret Service or F.B.I. did not prevent his appearance under such intense circumstances defies explanation of any kind.  I also believe the Dallas Police, C.I.A., Secret Service and F.B.I. collaborated in a cover-up and that we may never know the real story about why it was done and who was really behind it.
 Q. The government is getting ready to sell off all of its shares in General Motors, but they’re also going to take a $10 billion loss when they do so.  I know the taxpayers will end up paying for it.  How do you think they’re going to make us pony up?  (Kerry ~ Westminster, CA)
A. Not to worry.  They’re going to pay for it with all of the money they’re saving the country on ObamaCare.

Q. Do you think it is possible for Israel to take out Iran’s nuclear sites on its own?  (Cecilia ~ El Reno, OK)
A. Possible, yes; likely, no.  But, there is growing evidence of a support agreement with Saudi Arabia and with the two of them, I think they might pull it off.  Then, you have to wonder what Syria’s reaction would be.

CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION IN THE WORKS

Virginia has officially filed for a Convention of the States for the purpose of limiting the power and jurisdiction of the Federal Government.  Article V of the Constitution provides two paths to amending the Constitution. One is through two-thirds of both houses of Congress, followed by ratification by three-fourths of the states. The other begins at the state level, where two-thirds of the legislatures ask Congress to call "a convention for proposing amendments." States would send delegates to this convention to propose amendments to the Constitution. Then, three-fourths of the states would ratify any amendments approved by the convention, either by their legislatures or special ratifying conventions.

COMMENTS:
This is a great move, but cumbersome and lengthy as it really should be.  We are, after all, fed up with our government in its entirety.  Congressional and Presidential approval ratings are at their lowest points in history.  Those in our government positions are proving to be non-responsive to our wishes and needs; yet, our Constitution provides that we have the power to govern.  I do not understand why the Republican Party has not called upon the Supreme Court to intervene in the Administration’s total disregard for the provision of our Constitution.  It provides for direct access to the Supreme Court to resolve such issues. But, then again, the Republican Party is still trying to figure out who and what it is.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why are you so upset about the Senate changing its rules?  (Roy ~ Ogden, UT)
A. Way back when Obama was reelected, I predicted that he would cram things down our throats that would be totally socialistic and permanently harm the country.  The change in Senate procedural rules is a giant step in that direction.  Our government is based on separation of powers; this move allows Obama to stuff the courts with judges who will do as he says and consistently rule in his favor.  It’s beyond being a dictator’s move.   He can now literally do almost anything he wants, including taking your guns under the U.N. Treaty he can now arguably have the Senate confirm.

Q. Where were you when Kennedy was shot?  (Jeremy ~ Los Gatos, CA)
A. Standing in a chow line at a Strategic Air Command Air Force base.  Of course, we immediately went into full alert.

Q. Do you think this new deal will help resolve the Iranian nuclear crisis?  (Tan ~ Monterrey Park, CA)
A. The I.A.E.A. just a few days ago complained that the Iranians are still refusing their access to many sites for inspection.  This “deal” is a farce designed solely to stall for time.  Consider this: If Iran fires off a nuke at Israel do you think North Korea would hesitate to fire one off at South Korea?  And then what?
