Sarah Hall Ingram, the IRS official who oversaw the division
that targeted conservative groups, was recently moved into the job of running
the IRS ObamaCare office. Her successor,
Joseph Grant, is taking the fall and being fired.
COMMENTS:
Let’s talk some facts.
Grant was scheduled to retire on June 3rd anyway. The Acting Commissioner of the IRS, Steven
Miller, resigned under pressure Wednesday; he was scheduled to leave next week
anyway. Are you getting the
picture? Yes, Obama is smoking again…. Smoke
and mirrors, that is.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. With the IRS stories breaking, you’d think we’d be
hearing from some conservative talk show that they had been targeted. Has any individual come forth? (Patty ~ Raton, NM)
A. How many people do you know who have been audited? Not very many, I’m sure. But, Glenn Beck was audited. His broadcasting associate Pat Gray was also
audited. Yeah, they also got his Editor-In-Chief
Scott Baker. The IRS audited them all in
2010. Now, what are the odds on
that? As Obama would say with a broad
grin, “Paybacks are a bitch, aren’t they?”
Q. Did I hear that Anthony Weiner is back in politics? I guess all of the flakes are bubbling to the
surface again. (Larry ~ Albany, OR)
A. He’s going to run for Mayor of New York City. I’m trying desperately to put together a
sarcastic line about apples, sin in the Garden of Eden, a Weiner and the Big
Apple, but I’m having a tough time of it.
Q. Did Erick Holder call Congressman Darrell Issa a name the
other day? (Lou ~ Upland, CA)
A. No. He did say: “The way you conduct yourself
as a member of Congress is unacceptable and shameful.” Oh, my... Please pass the popcorn.
