Union thugs in Detroit stormed into a tent occupied by Americans
for Prosperity, a pro-right –to-work group, slashed the walls of the tent and
tore it down; some of those trapped inside were in wheel chairs. The thugs then struck at others, screaming
such epithets as: “I’ll kill a mother f%^&(*@ with a gun!” President Obama, firmly in the pockets of the
S.E.I.U. and the AFL-CIO, has said that he adamantly supports the union
position.
COMMENTS:
There’s no doubt that Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has been
marked for some kind of retribution. These
“cowboys” have threatened to burn down the capitol and Snyder’s house. This methodology is sometimes referred to as “The
Chicago Way.” It’s also the way
dictators run a country, by sending out “enforcers.” Look for more to come.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. The Republicans are complaining about the growing use of
food stamps in the country, saying in essence that the nation has turned into a
bunch of deadbeats. What’s your opinion
on the issue? (Cyndee ~ Glendale, AZ)
A. Yeah, and unemployment is down to 7.7%, right? So why should food stamp usage be up? Well, unemployment may be down, but we have
the highest number of non-working people in the labor force in the nation’s
history. Add to that the number of
people who are under-employed and you have a tremendous need for people to get
food in their bellies. If you force them
to beg off of their families or churches, you’re just going to create further
drag on the economy. The real way to
resolve the food stamp program is to get people back to work, and I don’t see
how that’s ever going to happen given the current political climate in
Washington.
Q. I was reading that, according to NEWSMAX.COM, 62% of
Americans want a path for citizenship to be opened for the illegal aliens
living here. Isn’t that rewarding them
for doing something illegal? (Wally ~ Alhambra,
CA)
A. I agree with your underlying philosophy. The other issue is, what about all of these
people who have been patiently waiting and filing papers after papers trying to
get here the legal way? Realistically,
however, the illegal Mexicans are not totally to blame; we left the borders
open and created all kinds of free incentives for them to come here. So, I think we need to lay down some strict requirements,
such as learning English, holding a job for five years, paying taxes, taking
courses in U.S. Citizenship and maybe even some military or public service, so
they have to earn the right to stay
here.
Q. Did I hear correctly that U.S. intelligence was “surprised”
at North Korea’s recent satellite launch?
(Delbert ~ Blythe, CA)
A. Yes. Not only did
they think the North Koreans were technologically far from being able to launch
a satellite, but they don’t know what the satellite is for. These are the same guys who assure us that
Iran’s nuclear program is still far from becoming a reality. Keystone Cops, perhaps?
