NORTH KOREA POPS OFF

Although North Korea had announced a delay in testing its new long-range missile, it went ahead and launched it yesterday.  For some inexplicable reason, western media is calling the missile a “rocket,” which is far from the technical expertise required to fire a missile capable of carrying a satellite to orbit or a nuclear payload to the U.S., which this test consisted of.  North Korea has already tested two nuclear weapons.

COMMENTS:
Those liars!  They’ll never be invited for a beer in the Rose Garden.  This is no joking matter, but the word “rocket” has evidently been brought into play by the Administration.  The word “rocket” implies that no guidance is involved that that just a fireworks show took place.  This is far from the dangerous truth that Obama continues to ignore.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. What do you think about the growing movement to replace Boehner as Speaker of the House?  (Guy ~ Westminster, CA)
A. The Speaker is only as strong as those members of his party will allow him to be.  Frankly, I think it’s an exercise in futility.  Why don’t they just fold the Republican Party into the Democrat Party and put Pelosi back in the seat?  If the Republican Party wants to survive as a separate party, it had better redefine its agendas and platforms and stick to them like glue.  After watching them for the last 24 years, I don’t think they have the ability to do that anymore.  Even the Energizer Bunny couldn’t recharge that party. I'm not being sarcastic here; I'm serious.

Q. What’s your opinion on Michigan’s passing the “right to work” law?  (Lester ~ Colorado Springs, CO)
A. There will be hell to pay with the unions and Obama will not intervene on the behalf of labor peace.  Their leaders, the S.E.I.U. at the forefront, have called for "blood."  But, as a matter of fact, every man or woman should have the right to work without the threat of violent oppression and union coercion.

Q. There’s been another outbreak of horrible gun violence and killing in an Oregon shopping mall.  When are we going to ban guns in this country?  (Van ~ Antioch, CA)
A. You would have preferred a chainsaw massacre or an axe slaying?  Do you have any idea how many people are poisoned every year?  Maybe we should ban anti-freeze?  The problem is not the weapon of choice; the problem is the society that creates the atmosphere of murder. Do I suppose that you are against the death penalty?
