TWO MILLION JOBS TO BE LOST IN JANUARY

Automatic budget cuts put into motion last August as a result of Congressional failure to deal with our national debt and deficit spending will cost the economy 2 million jobs according to latest estimates. The Aerospace Industries Association unveiled a new report yesterday that warned of job losses, billions in losses to the economy and a blow to wages from the $1.2 trillion, 10-year cuts in defense and domestic programs.

COMMENTS:
This is all about a Democrat-controlled Senate that flatly refused to discuss anything reasonable back in August, a Republican House that caved in and would not stand up for budgetary sense, and a committee that in November could not agree on whether the sun comes up in the east or the west. So, here we are and what are we going to do about it… put the same players back in office in November?

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I can’t believe the word that the Democrats are spreading, that either the rest of Congress does as they command and cave in on taxes for those earning over $250,000 or they will take the country over the fiscal cliff to total abyss.  That is ^&%$$)* un-American and so irresponsible that I cannot describe it.  (Maurice ~ Tulsa, OK)
A. And what is worse is… they totally mean it.  “I will sink the country, its economy and the future unless you do as I say.”  Have you had enough yet?  Are you ready to do something about it?

Q. Now they’re spinning that Obama made a gaffe or misspoke when he said that American businessmen did not build their businesses, the government did.  Is the country going to fall for that?  (Lee ~ Lancaster, CA)
A. He’s an arrogant, dictatorial Chicago Mob kind of guy.  If people won’t take a moment to stop and listen to what is being said, then I guess they deserve to be treated like pissants… as he is doing.

Q. Tell me about what is being said and what is going on with TANF, (Temporary Assistance to Need Families.) (Winston ~ Tremonton, UT)
A. Many states are now calling bed rest, personal care activities, massage, exercise, journalism, motivational reading, smoking cessation, weight loss promotion, participation in parent-teacher meetings, or helping friends or family with household tasks and errands as being sufficient to meet qualification standards. This is in keeping with Federal prodding. So,. as a taxpayer, you're paying for someone to do errands, such as spending your money.
