Knowing that NATO and U.S. troops will soon be leaving Afghanistan, the Taliban is wasting no time in establishing “morality squads” to begin imposing its draconian religious rule on outlying provinces. They will then be in good position to take over the country again when the last allies leave.

And Al Qaeda wants to restart its training camps in
Afghanistan as well. Another brilliant

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I thought the decision of the Supreme Court was
final. Why is everyone still arguing
about the Health Care decision last week?
(Jarvis ~ Cloverdale, CA)
A. The decision is final and some people will argue ad
infinitum simply because they don’t know how to refocus their energy. They should quit talking about it and start
putting the pieces in place to have it repealed, such as getting everyone
against it out to vote in November.
Q. What are we really going to do about energy and the
economy, regardless of who is President?
(Saundra ~ Olympia, WA)
A. Obama is dead-set against any more domestic oil
production and has often said, “You can’t drill your way out of a recession.” He says he wants to force more production
from the solar, geothermal, wind and other renewable energy sectors; I guess he
wants to give them some more of his great loan guarantees so he can get some
more political contributions. Romney
wants to have more domestic production.
In North Dakota, they are drilling and producing like crazy
and they have so much money that they’ve been talking about cutting taxes. So much for the Obama theory.
Q. CNN’s ratings have dropped for the second straight quarter. What’s happening? (Lars ~ Truckee, CA)
A. People are sick and tired of not being able to get the
news, or getting news that’s so distorted with editorial slant that it’s
worthless.
