NORTH KOREA MISSILE TEST FIZZLES

North Korea acknowledged in an announcement broadcast on state TV that a satellite launched yesterday from the west coast failed to enter into orbit. The U.S. and South Korea also declared the launch a failure.

COMMENTS:
Nevertheless, from each test comes an advance in knowledge even when there is a failure.  And the U.S. condemnation of the test is like a parakeet telling a buzzard off.  We know that North Korea has nuclear weapons and we haven’t even discussed that fact; we vowed that would never, ever happen… but it has.  Our threats to any government, including North Korea, have become as worthless as a paper tiger.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Now the jobless claims are up.  That’s another bad sign.  Is the economy going to tank again?  (Justin ~ Aberdeen, SD)
A. Yes, but don’t fret about it.  It’ll be Bush’s fault.

Q. The GSA debacle continues to grow.  There will be hearings in Congress and nothing will be done.  How can we stop this bull?  (Kelvin ~ Forks, WA)
A. Vote for Obama in November; he’ll clean this stuff up.  Remember, he promised to do so in 2008 when he was running.  And remember, he knew in May of last year that GSA was doing these things and jumped right on the matter to stop it… in March of 2012, immediately after the story broke.  You can trust Obama to do what is right and proper.  Yes, siree.

Q. A recent report shows that women White House employees get paid 18% less than their male counterparts.  Isn’t this constitutionally an illegal discrimination based on sex?  (Phyllis ~ Lawrence, KS)
A. Yes.  However, this White House does not recognize the Constitution as being an instrument of law.  It is to them merely words written in the wind by people who no longer exist.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.” ~ William Shakespeare
