DEUTSCHE BANK: WORST OF INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC CRISIS YET TO COME

The worst is yet to come in the global financial crisis as the central bank spending that kept defaults low runs out, according to Deutsche Bank AG.

COMMENTS:
They can only print so much more money before the world economy collapses anyway, and we are certainly printing our share.  Beware of spending and yes, I would now start investing in precious metals.  Our currency, by nature of the fact that Bernanke and Geithner are in control, is by no means immune, and the current economic indicators are turning back towards south.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I can’t believe that Sarah Palin was shocked that Secret Service agents were “checking her out.”  Isn’t that a sign of beauty, sexual attraction and overall good looks?  Isn’t that complimentary, as opposed to totally ignoring her?  (John ~ Steamboat Springs, CO)
A. I agree.  I “check out” a whole lot of women, just as women do to men.  That doesn’t mean rape is occurring.  That doesn’t mean I would give up a good marriage in order to bed the woman.  That’s a very shallow person who says things like that and I may be about to change my opinion of Sarah Palin.

Q. I hear that General Electric had much higher than expected net earnings last quarter and everyone is excited about that.  The way I see it, however, is that they don’t pay any income taxes and they do business with the enemy.  Do you agree?   (Gordon ~ Des Moines, WA)
A. Absolutely. They are the epitome of corporate irresponsibility in this country.  Someone should turn off their lights.

Q. With the departure last year from Fox News of mega-star Glenn Beck and the total isolation of his runner-up Judge Anthony Napolitano, what will happen next with the remaining anchors of the network, being Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren?  (Gloria ~ Fairfield, CA)
A. I don’t know about Greta, but Fox News is in heavy negotiations with Bill and Sean to renew their contracts for several years and at a hefty price.  Don’t you wish you had a big mouth?
