Wow. It surely gives
you a lot of trust in our government, doesn’t it? They tax us and spend our money on these
projects? No wonder we’re broke.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Why are we pulling out of Afghanistan? That was always
the breeding ground for Al Qaeda and terrorist activities. Won’t our absence
rekindle those activities? (Chauncey ~
Sacramento, CA)
A. In all probability, you are correct. Obama promised his far-left-wing constituents
that we would get out; now, he has no political choice but to do so before
November. Isn’t this a wonderful world,
ruled solely by political considerations?
In this world, nobody needs testicles.
Isn’t that what you want?
Q. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has appealed to all
Syrians to abandon President Bashar Assad.
Why didn’t that appeal come from President Obama? (Gordy ~ Reno, NV)
A. Because, although he feels he’s omnipotent, he also fears that
he is not.
Q. It seems like
every week I get two or three requests for me to fill out a survey. Do these things have any impact? (Melissa ~ Tulare, CA)
A. Yes. The online
petition movement has come a long way from chain mails that threaten eternal
bad luck for failing to forward a message to at least five friends. On
line petitions can gather millions of signatures in a very short period of
time. No politician in his right mind is
going to ignore such a response.
