THINGS GETTING VERY HOT WITH IRAN

Iran is manufacturing small boats capable of carrying bombs and with the intent of blowing up ships in the Strait of Hormuz.  Israel has accused Iran of recent car bombings in India and Georgia where Israeli diplomats were the intended targets.

COMMENTS:
It’s almost looking like Ahmadinejad already has nukes and that he is now flexing his muscles.  I said several months ago that I thought they were much closer to getting nukes than anyone in the Obama Administration was letting on.  Any strike by us against Iran would most certainly lead to a serious confrontation with China and Russia and Obama is in no way capable of dealing with that scenario.  In my opinion, this situation is going to be far worse than we can imagine very, very soon.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. Santorum is gaining steam.  What do you think?  (Cal ~ Port Angeles, WA)
A. Gingrich and Santorum would make an unbeatable combination.  Romney has skated by while other opponents have fallen by the wayside.  Now, he has to convince everyone that he is conservative; that means he has to hide his liberal tendencies and even avoid the label of “moderate.”  I don’t think he has the heart to do that, and that fact will ooze out in the coming weeks like a bad fart.

Q. I just read that Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer was robbed at knifepoint by an intruder in his West Indies vacation home.  I thought Justices had Secret Service protection.  What happened?  (Billie ~ Redding, CA)
A. They don’t have Secret Service protection; they have Supreme Court Police who obviously don’t protect the Justices 24-7.  I agree, this is stupid.   But then again, most of what our government does lacks any common sense.

Q. How is Hong Kong doing since they were made a part of China again years ago?  (Kirsten ~ Newport Beach, CA)
A. Residents there are starting to push back against increasing Chinese rules.  This issue bears watching closely; Hong Kong is a major financial capital in the world.

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“We've gotten a long way on missile defense. We know how to do it. We know how to take down incoming warheads, but we need to do a lot more work in order to be - to deploy a system that'll defend the United States against those kinds of limited strikes that might be possible by a nuclear armed North Korea or Iran.” ~ Dick Cheney
