SANDERS: “I DON’T BELIEVE IN CHARITIES”

Bernie Sanders said that at a charity kickoff when he was Mayor of Burlington.

COMMENTS:
He believes that government has the power and the right to take from you and give to those who don’t want to work.  I can’t believe how many people in this country are buying into that stance.  Move over, Greece, here we come!

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. I hear that Vermont is becoming like California, that everyone is leaving the state due to high taxes?  (Betty Lou ~ Baton Rouge, LA)
A. High taxes, heavy regulations and other policies that depress economic growth have made Vermont a difficult place to create jobs, earn a living and raise a family. Governor Peter Shumlin and state lawmakers are looking to double down on their anti-growth policies with the state house’s approval last week of another round of tax hikes for individuals, families and employers.  And good old Bernie Sanders isn’t even president yet.

Q. Are gun sales still breaking records?  (Buck ~ Clovis, CA)
A. March was another record-breaking month for gun sales, according to the FBI.  It performed over 2.5 million background checks for the eleventh straight monthly record.  With about eight million guns sold just this year, I wonder how Obama and/or Clinton intend to confiscate them.  “Warm up the truck, Gus, we’re gonna’ go and get us some guns?”

Q. Megyn Kelly may leave FOX NEWS?  (Valentino ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. Her contract will be up in a few months and there are currently no negotiations going on.  Maybe MSNBC will hire her? Maybe she'll go back to colleghe and learning the meaning of the word "introspect."

TODAY’S QUOTE:
“The media has brainwashed the electorate to expect the government to do something.  The best economic policy of any government is to do nothing but reduce the size of the government, reduce the size of the laws, and reduce the size of regulations.” ~ Marc Faber
