BARBARA BOXER STEPS IN IT AGAIN

There was a day when Senator Barbara Boxer from California dressed down a general for calling her “ma’am” because… she’s a Senator and she’d damned-well be referred to as “Senator Boxer” and not just “ma’am.”  Now, the non-Catholic has had the temerity to tell a Catholic priest what he has to believe in regarding global warming.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. We keep hearing about how gun sales have skyrocketed.  Just out of curiosity, do you know what percentage of buyers are women?  (Quint ~ Coalinga, CA)
A. Since 2007, there has been a 270% increase in the number of women seeking concealed carry permits.  The gun industry is responding by designing more feminine holsters and grips, as well as engineering more compact guns specifically designed for women to carry.  Yes, they even have pink-barreled guns with pink grips that use cartridges with lipstick-colored bullet heads.

Q. There’s a bill pending in California that would drive all gun stores out of business?  (Charles ~ Diamond Bar, CA)
A. Yes, anti-gunner Kevin McCarty is at it again.  The bill contains:
1. A prohibition on licensee business premises being on a residential property.
2. A clear statement that localities may impose more restrictive requirements on licensees than those imposed by state law.
3. A requirement that licensees maintain full color video surveillance that is of sufficient quality to provide for facial recognition, plus records all firearm transactions on the premises, all locations where firearms and ammunition are stored, the immediate exterior of the licensed premises, and all parking facilities owned by the licensee.
4. All licensees would be required to have a liability policy of a minimum of $1M per incident to cover liability arising from "theft, sale, lease or transfer or offering for sale, lease or transfer of a firearm or ammunition, or any other operations of the business and business premises."

Obviously, the intent is to make it impossible for a gun dealer to conduct business in California.

Q. I Think IRS Commissioner John Koskinen is running rabidly amok and with impunity over taxpayers.  Can’t he be fired?  (Patty ~ Kirkland, WA)
A. There’s been some talk of impeaching him, but most Congressmen don’t want to undergo a tax audit, for obvious reasons.
