LEWANDOWSKY: NOW FOR THE REST OF THE STORY

Michelle Fields, the former BREITBART.COM reporter who filed charges against Trump’s campaign manager for assault, has had previous legal encounters.  In 2011, when she worked for THE DAILY CALLER, she alleged she and videographer Direna Cousins “were struck” by NYPD officers as the police tried to clear the street of Occupy Wall Street protesters.  In March 2015, Fields accused former U.S. congressman Allen West of groping her in front of an elevator while they were colleagues at PJ Media.  As a PJTV reporter, Fields “confronted” actor Leonardo DiCaprio about his lifestyle during a climate-change protest in New York City, and when DiCaprio refused to answer, Fields “was quickly pushed out of the way by a minder,” the Daily Mail in London reported in May 2014.  A PJTV video of the incident archived on YouTube shows Fields persisting in aggressive questioning even after it was apparent DiCaprio had no interest in responding.  Fields is now complaining the she was forced to move out of her apartment because, in reporting the Trump incident, several news outlets inadvertently included her address and she was besieged by angry callers and visitors.

COMMENTS:
And she’s undoubtedly going to sue those news outlets for invasion of privacy?  What’s really nasty here is that the news media and Ted Cruz have been demanding that Trump fire Lewandowsky, asserting that Trump has no business standing up for his campaign manager.

TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. So Karl Rover is advocating that the GOP drop Trump, Cruz and Kasich and choose their own candidate In Cleveland?  (Vinny ~ Las Vegas, NV)
A. Yes.  Like the rest of the Republican elite establishment, Rove doesn’t give a damn about what the party members think or want, or the fact that they went to the polls to vote for the candidates of their choice.  The Republican Party is worthless.

Q. Obama censored French President Hollande?  (Trina ~ Lawrence, KS)
A. There was a bilateral meeting during which Hollande said: But we’re also well aware that the roots of terrorism, Islamist terrorism, is in Syria and in Iraq.”  Official White House transcripts obliterated “Islamist terrorism” from the translation.  I guess that, as usual, Obama didn’t have enough starch in his undershorts.

Q. Traditionally, when the presidential nominee is chosen, the party turns over its campaign apparatus to the nominee to help him, or her, win the general election.  Given the animosity of the RNC to Trump, if he wins will the party back him?  (Buck ~ Fresno, CA)
A. According to the NEW YORK TIMES, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus "has also let it be known that he does not plan to let the Trump campaign take over the party apparatus if he captures the nomination.”  Are you angry enough to let your feelings about the heavy-handed RNC be known?
