Last week was astonishing in itself: Holder flipped the House
Committee the big one, they responded by voting to move a Contempt of Congress
citation to the floor of the House, the nation got into an uproar about Obama’s
piracy of the Constitution over the immigration issue; and it came to light
that one of Obama’s “friends” he appointed to the NLRB has a strong smell of La
Cosa Nostra ties. Today, certainly by
Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court will issue its verdict on the ObamaCare issue
and the full House may vote to cite Holder with Contempt. And, who knows? The media might finally zero on on the Obama biographer who claims Obama told him, a couple of years before the 2008 election, that he was born in Kenya; or how about that famous Michelle slip when she said Obama was "Kenyan?"
COMMENTS:
Things are shaping up to be a long, hot summer for Obama and
his Marxist Socialist cronies, as it well should be. Obama reminds of an old movie title, ‘CAT ON
A HOT TIN ROOF;” I wonder how many of his nine lives he’s going to use up
before Election Day. Could it possibly be that his chickens are coming home to roost? Play me a little travelin' music there, Otis...
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. How do you feel about Jerry Sandusky’s guilty
verdict? (Hank ~ Des Moines, IA)
A. The s.o.b. should feel lucky that he is in custody and
that I was not there with my gun.
Q. What do you say to atheists who challenge your belief in
God? (Melanie ~ El Centro, CA)
A. May God have mercy
on your soul?
Q. Why do you think Syria attacked a Turkish jet over Turkish
air space? (Frankie ~ Redding, CA)
A. The attack was actually in international airspace over
the Mediterranean. I think Syrian
President Assad wanted to send a stern and belligerent warning to all nations
that, should they decide to provide air cover for the rebellion or to declare a
“no-fly zone,” there is going to be hell to pay. Frankly, Frankie, the Syrians do have a
pretty strong air force and, should they decide to use it in such a scenario,
the battle for air supremacy over Syria is not going to be easily won.
