In another one of those
“You have to pass it before you read it” Obama moves, the U.N. Small Arms
Treaty signed by John Kerry last fall includes a provision requiring member
countries to require a national gun registry.
The UN
Arms Trade Treaty was written in secret by the Obama/Hillary Clinton State
Department, along with Russia, China, France and Britain; that’s not exactly a
lineup of champions of liberty.
COMMENTS:
The game plan was to have the Democrat-controlled Senate
ratify the treaty in an effort to make it trump the Second Amendment. Until the Senate votes against the treaty it is
still a possibility that it will become the law of the land.
TODAY’S QUERIES & ANSWERS:
Q. There has been such a spread of gambling in the United
States. It used to be considered as
immoral and against public policy. How
do you feel about it? (Janice ~ Logan,
UT)
A. The Bible teaches us to have no gods except the God.
He also teaches us not to lie, cheat, steal or kill. Gambling becomes a god in and of itself. People steal from church collection plates in
order to gamble. They go to Vegas with
their preacher’s wife. Hundreds of
innocents have been killed over a gambling bet.
I was in the business myself for many years and did not recognize it for
what it really is until I got away from it.
Not only is it a blight on our society, it is immoral and as
anti-religious as you can get… with the exception of politics, of course.
Q. What’s your opinion of John Boehner being reelected to House
Speaker? (Gert ~ Hackensack, NJ)
A. Although he barely squeaked out a victory, don’t look for
much change in the way things are being done in Congress. Same o, same o.
Q. Who is Sharyl Attkisson and what is her lawsuit against
the Justice Department all about? (Bea ~
North Hollywood, CA)
A. She was a CBS reporter who was at the forefront of reporting
on the Benghazi Massacre. Not only has she
said that CBS tried to muzzle her, but she insists that the government hacked
her computer and stole her files. The
government is refused to provide documents to the court in the matter. She is suing for $35 million and her attorneys
are licking their chops.
